The Elitist view is stupid

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Is this the way Europe tries to take back the colonies?We obtained our freedom for reasons.We chose that the rights and freedom of choice of the individual were better than having some group of "do as I say,not as I do"elitists control us.We found these rights to be self evident.What has been torn down is the teaching in our schools of responsibilities of the individual,to be accountable,to pull your own weight,that you should expect a hand up but not a hand out.The only thing we strive to garantee is life ,liberty and the pursuit of happiness.Opportunity is here yet many refuse to recognize it.That is what makes us great as a people that any man can become successful if he strives.Any man can be heard.Appalachia, as educationally challenged as they may be,are not stupid.The Appalachians see through this elitist BS.We are a capitolist democracy,hard for wannabe socialist elitists to understand,the market will dictate if we can drive SUV's or what we set out thermoststs at.Don't do business with bad people,better people will show up to do business with.Celebrate the diversity amoung us,let us be free to choose our own lives and how we live them.Appalachians and the rest of us don't need Obama and the rest of the elitist cronies to look down thier noses at us because the view from our window is differint.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]If this isn't a piece of misleading crap please explain to me how even any Harvard,"Camelot High",professor could dare conclude anything of the sort given the following facts regarding population density.ALL These countries have a lower population densities than the United States;Norway,Belize,Saudi Arabia!,Congo,Greenland,Chile,Peru,Venezuela,Brazil,Botswana, you get my point?Canada has only about 3.2 people per kilometer and there are over 100 countries with less density than us.Many of the people coming here are coming from those South American countries with less density.Maybe the truth that they come here not for space but our way of life.This would threaten to enlighten the ideological blindness of the far left.This would put in to question the socialist theories of the elite.The first duty of a citezen is to be responsible,we allow immagration ,the first act to come here should not be illegal.I have a few friends who have been trying legally to immagrate for years,they have college degrees.What we spend in our society from law enforcement and the prison system would far better be spent training,buildling,hospitals,schools, in thier homelands and giving them the opportunities of liberty and self reliance .President Kennedy's Peace Corps went to countries we didn't bring them here.That was the model we lost due to the blindness and political ambition of the left.We would be far safer,secure,and progressed as a world if we had followed the truth instead of the easy slogan,talking points, and quick buck.This is a time for all to Question Authority and misleading facts that only tell fragments of fact to intentionally miss lead.Is Obama all he seems,who wants the power and why?

[Read more letters about this article: Here]More politcal posturing from the left,like this article,does not serve us well.The last Immagration Bill was called the "McCain-Kennedy Bill" remember?What John McCain and most of both houses want is just not waht most americans want.Every american must be on notice because they will try to back door this issue and repeat the same mistake Ronald Reagan warned us of when he reluctantly signed a simular bill to to try get the borders secure in the 80's.Lobbyist on both sides profit with the status quo or any bill that doesn't secure these borders,and our Senate and Congress are to corrupt and self serving to do thier job,the will of the people regarding this issue.McCain has made clear his preference and to state or write that this is changing his position,or breaking some promise or whatever is misleading .Shame on you.McCain said any immigration reform would require secured borders first along with whatever else was decided.He stated very clear he was of a differint mind but he heard the "will" of the people loud and clear and until a change in public sentiment he was obligated that way to insure secure borders first.The two biggest issues we as american can agree on as a majority and nothing gets done.The energy bill and securing borders and our infrastructure.Makes you thinks as americans if this doesn't change soon we should disregard party and re-elect nobody.This way, at least ,it would take the new ones a while to learn how to rob from us ;) .
