  • Obama should be done before Penn Primary

[Read the article: Who wants to be a Democrat?]

A great amount of effort and time given by so many in support of Barrack Obama in Pennsylvania will be wasted. The truth about Barrack, the true beliefs of him and his wife, the church of hatred and bigotry that he has belonged to for over 20 years.Whether he was in attendance at one of Rev Jerimiah Wright's hate filled sermon's or not, he knew of them.Particularly the sermon after 9-11 in 2001 strike me as most disturbing.A registration drive will do Barrack no good in Pennsylvania, even if he were to win nomination now he is unelectable in November. This is either how he truly feels or such bad judgement ,to remain associated with such an organization that would spread such hate, disqualifies him to be President at this time. This was a great diservice done to us by the media for not bringing this issue to light until this late in the process. Many young americans, who rightly seek hope and change with how things are done in Washington, will now realize thier time is not now, they have been duped, there will be no change this election."We all want to change the world, but if you want money for people with minds that hate, all I can tell you is brother you have to wait."..John Lennon.

  • This is the real reason Obama is divisive

Bill O'Rielly has nothing to do with it.The real reason is that race questions have not been overcome or addressed until now, far too late.Nothing Pastor Wright has said has been taken out of context. The issue is that many people have been led to believe Pastor Wright as a credible source. Many in the black community agree with him and his views because these views have not been challenged by more black comunity leaders and Barrack didn't show the courage to stand,as Martin Luther King did,and make clear that we have to get beyond race and that these views are as wrong for whites as they are for blacks and destructive to society, content of character not color of skin is what should be preached. He needed to make that stand years ago.The facts are a black man can get support from society as a whole and can be nominated and elected and what Obama has done in proving this is to show how wrong Pastor Wrights views truly are,Barrack's campaign contradicts his pastors sermons.Barrack has shown poor judgement and leadership and more than blacks need to vote for him to be elected and he has created doubt about his character with how he has handled this issue with independants and the "Reagan"democrats. He has shown himself to be what he claimed not to be,just another politician. This is devisive because now the democrats are forced into the position of dividing the party or nominating a candidate that is unelectible in November. The NY Times was all over McCain about a lobbyist relationship and how it showed poor judgement, without even having facts, most of the media have ignored Pastor Wright and Barrack's Church's views until now even when the facts were all there. If you didn't like the swiftboat ads what till this issues ads hit the airwaves. The democrats are stuck between a rock and a hard place and that is what is devisive. We americans deserved better.

  • The Way Obama has handled the Wright problem will be fatal

Jesse Jackson spoke that he is nervous walking down the street when black men 18-25 years of age approach him as well. How does this make Barrack's "white" grandmothers fears unjustified?Bill Cosby has been writing and speaking out about the problems he sees in the black community and he has been shunned.Who profits from racial division?I hear alot said about Rev Wrights views being shared by alot in the black community, why wouldn't they? Those views are being spewed by black ministers across the country and thoses views are being empowered by black leaders ,such as Barrack, sitting in the churches during them. Many are tired of the over use of the race card, there is opportunity for all here who are willing to take responsibility for themselves and strive to succeed. There needs to be an end to black racism.I remember my first encounter with black racism in the military, when it was explained to me that I owed them and because of how my ancestors enslaved them.I was upset, being french canadian and never around many blacks as a child, until then I was proud of my ancestors work with the underground railroad trying to help free the oppressed.History shows that the majority of white immagration happened after slavery so why should we all owe because we are all white?Who is judging who on the basis of color now? That is what we need to get beyond.I worked for many years with refugees from Cambodia,Laos and Viet Nam I saw people come here in the mid 70's unable to speak the language, many watched in horror as thier husbands, sons, fathers were brutaly murdered before them as they fled.I saw them succeed here, raise thier children, instill morals and values of hard work and education and it amazed me how fast they could succeed to buy homes, start businesses and become independant contributors to society while the black community remains in a state of self pity and false excuses.Bill Cosby makes many valid points about the black community needing to be more responsible for themselves. The Rev.Wright situation has uncovered this issue and brought it to the forefront and it will stay here and serve to divide until the truth about those who profit from racism in the black community are dealt with by the black community itself.Obama or anyone else who supports simular racist views, will never get support from independants or Reagan democrats until then and that's just how it is.Barrack Obama is done.
