Too Fast?
[Read the article: Was the 2004 election stolen? No.]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I'm all for the truth coming to light but it just occured to me that the Rolling Stone article I believe was available online thurs. June 1st. Manjoo rebuts the whole piece a day later. Even if he had access to the Kennedy piece a week earlier it seems amazing that he can research and rebut almost the whole article. And even if he had the voter research results months or a year before, wouldn't it be prudent to go over the facts again?
This article was a rush job and unnecessary. Salon should have waited to do the right piece instead of riding the coattails of Rolling Stone in order to get subscribers. I liked this place before the new editor took over.

[Read the article: Sullivan's travels]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Well there you go. He calls himself dumb. He did not see what a lot of us saw from the very beginning. So why is he still a paid writer? what makes him worthy of listening to? He's been wrong about everything from day one and now has a change of heart. F**k you. Andrew please pleae climb in the hole you came from and never come back.

No way
[Read the article: Mike Bloomberg could buy the White House]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Another rich businessman that forgot the working class. To hell with him and his kind. Just like the repubs he will be foorever on the side of big business. I live in the city. Do a numbers check and see how much it costs to get around this city since he got into office. He will forever be a rich man with rich friends and we've had enough of those types running the country. Nothing to see here lets move on to someone with vision instead of deep pockets and no sense of what the real world people do and need.

How about the past hwere the press hammered Apple?
[Read the article: Is the press too nice to Apple?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]What no real tech news around?
Its funny you push this crap from some other site. The press in the past bashed Apple to death. How soon we forget. Every time they put out a new product it got trashed by the tech news people. How many articles every six months right on cue did someone write about Apples imminent demise. Even the ipod when it first came out got trashed until the public said different. Only recently with the publics support have they come on the Apple train because they put out good products that people want. Its that simple. I bet you were a die hard pc guy pissed that they'rer not dead. grow up.

Masterpiece
[Read the article: "Sicko"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Oh my. Sicko is a masterpiece. You walk out the theater embarrassed at our system. I don't understand peoples reluctance to except the fact that the money we spend on health insurance could be better used for a better quality of life. Of course no system is perfect but the system we have in America is designed for profit and the way they make profit is to limit your access to it any way they can. Yes we are a big country and yes we will pay for it with our taxes so what? England, France etcy mange to do it. And what difference does it make how large a country is? More people means more money into the system. See this film, its the most amazing piece of filmmaking I have seen in a long while. The film is so much more than about health care its about a system that has forgotten its purpose. Stephanie needs to go away and Salon needs a new film reviewer. Thanks Michael.

Proof Moore is right
[Read the article: "Sicko"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Go see the film and pay careful attention to the faces of the people who have free health care when they are told how our system works. Its worth the price of admission. Their reactions are priceless because mixed with reactions of laughter or sadness is the look of embarassment, for us. For us.
Again Salon get a new film reviewer. Stephanie follows the pack. I always notice the same sound bites from other reviews or articles. She was obviousely afraid to applaud Moore so it wouldn't look like she was one of those volvo driving latte drinking northeastern liberals that she tried to temper her review with balance. When something is true there is no need for balance. Is this what I'm paying a subscription fee for. Well not for long

HYpocritical is ia dufass
[Read the article: "Sicko"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Oh Bull sh**t HYPROCRITICAL. I work in the film business and if you are working and editing non union jobs no one pays for your health insurance. If you are doing union jobs you have insurance.
You are a fu**ing weasel.Your friends are obviousely non union workers and non union workers do not get healthcare. Judging from your stupidity I would assume your friends were hired to be assisatants. And assistants do not have to be union and no production company ever paid health insurance to non union workers. Another reason to have universal health care wouldn't you say?. If they are union then they have insurance. You are the perfect person who should see Sicko because getting second hand info from your whinny friends has skewed the truth , the exact situation we are in regarding the health care in the US. Skewed truth.
