[Read more letters about this article: Here]What a great conversation!Thanks for the clip.I would have missed it otherwise because I can hardly stand to watch the cable shows for all of the grandstanding and misrepresentation of what has been said or done by the candidates.I wanted to learn of the S.C. results but found myself flipping around because the commentary was so bad.I ended up on c-span.It was a rare lucky happenstance that Mika and David and you ended up on a segment without the egotistic blowhards Chris or Joe blabbing on and preventing honest conversation.The country needs exactly what the three of you were giving it an honest conversation.It bothered me at the time when Billy Sheheen made his infamous dumb remarks that the MSM immediately saw it as racist. It seemed to me that the commentators were showing their own bias by seeing it that way. What is the difference between questioning George Bush's past drug use and Obama's? It was Matthews et al who already had the frame drug use = black when everybody knows from their own lives that drugs are a plague on all races and genders too for that matter. Oh by the way if you know any of the producers who chose commentators for CNN please point out that anyone who is currently supporting himself on the back of the Clintons like that old drunk Carl Bernstein is hardly in a position to judge them.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]I watched a little of the coverage tonight but increasingly I have to turn it off. It just makes me so angry. The piling on Hillary by the press is so over the top. Tonight the good old boys on CNBC and this includes Olberman were having such a chuckle at that naughty boy McCain "sucker punching" Romney with an out and out lie about his record that supposedly took him two news cycles to recover from his shock and fight back. We don't need to imagine how that would be played out if were the Clinton's hardball fighting. We have been treated to days of hair pulling and chest beating on how race was injected into the race.Multiple columns have been written even Ted Kennedy has gotten in on the act. It is my personal opinion that Oprah was the first to inject race. Think about it her whole career and fortune are due to her one basic theme...the empowerment of women. Does anyone think she would be supporting a white man who had all of Obama qualities? Let one little thing be said about the rampant misogonyny going on and it's," oh she better be able to take the heat or get out of the kitchen" this most common anology has not been lost on me either. I'm damn sick and tired of it and I'm working my but off to get Hillary elected and I hope other women do the same thing!

[Read more letters about this article: Here]lat207....yes of course people should chose who they want to support based on their personal qualities but Oprah has always made a point of staying neutral in the past and she has become who she is by being the champion of women. The first qualified women ever becomes a serious candidate and she can't stay neutral?

I feel one of the reasons he has stayed in for so long is that his wonderful wife wanted him to so much. She is a class act.He will continue his interest in helping the poor the rest of his life I'm sure but he has some sad times to go through before he can. Any talk of him on the ticket as VP is forgetting the facts of his life.I am a Hillary supporter but I have the upmost respect for the Edwards.Those of you who want to keep the horse race at full throttle should show a little respect.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Last night was the first time in a while that I felt great about the Democratic chances in November. I was really getting discouraged by the blood sport aspects of politics and the MSM's control of things.I was depressed by the bickering between the Obama supporters and Hillary's supporters. I was mad at Bill Clinton and the Media's obsession with him.Being a Hillary supporter I knew I would support Obama if nominiated but my heart was heavy with worry that he was not up to the job and would be rolled by the the Republicans.
Last night our two canidates made me so proud! They took control of the night and did not let Weasel Wolf get shots in for his pals in the MSM, they were not going to be the stars this time. The result was a great substansive discussion of progressive thought and policy. Finally progressive thought broke through the MSM and was showcased for the voters. What a great night for us all! Any viewer who watched the Republicans the night before and the Dems last night got to see a stark contrast between the bankrupt ideas of the Republicans and the energetic agenda of the Democrats.
I still feel that Hillary has the skills needed for this point in time but Obama had time to fill in some blanks for me and I am assured that he is indeed progressive.I know this sounds somewhat simplistic but that final image of the two of them together sure looked like a dream team to me. The thought of the two of them barnstorming the country and bringing it to a new place brings me real hope. Eight years of a hard working policy wonk aided by a born pursuader followed by eight years of a more seasoned, more effective leader. Sounds like Nirvana to me!
