[Read more letters about this article: Here]too, noticed that Salon blatantly implied Bill Clinton was the only one using the phone. I get so tired of all the Obama articles, the favoritism, the pandering to Obama supporters evident day after day in Salon's articles.
My opinion:
you have to understand the mentality of the neo-left. They LIKE to lose. They enjoy it. AFter the loss they get to feel like pompous superiors and they get to wring their hands and serve as the loyal opposition griping and whining about every GOP atrocity for the next term. Catering as waterholes for a price (donations, subscriptions, etc) to frustrated lefties looking to have some enjoyable agonizing with the like-minded.
Salon, moveon.org Air America, all the bastions of neo-leftyism , that's what they do and that's who they cater to. Keeps their bread buttered. The hell with the people who are suffering under the GOP plutocracy.
Anyway, that's how I see it.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]That's the thing. The obamateur's insist that voters will transfer from Hillary to any Dem candidate. Not so. They don't trust Obama on the economy: poll after poll shows they trust Hlllary more than McCain, but McCain more than Obama.
And perhaps rightly so. first, at least you know where McCain stands - and he has a reputation deserved or not, as someone who will break from the GOP lockstep.
Meanwhile historically Obama has delivered none of the change he spews on about. And in this election his entire campaign has been Clinton bashing, posturing on an old vote on a war he had no skin in, and race-baiting.
In troubled economic times people couldn't be any LESS interested in dialogue on race, leaving aside whether they should or shouldn't be.

Choke on your latte, you pompous troll. I've been in Indiana for weeks watching adoring crowds in small towns turn out for the Clintons. They LOVE them and they consider them rightfully the best Administration of their lifetimes. There were JOBS then and Americans actually had disposable income and their kids future looked bright.
They don't need to be lectured by pompous assholitudes on the coast.

I say let the albatross go. They either don't vote at all, or else shared race obviously trumps everything as in the case of their trying to shove the obamateur down our throats and calling (of all people) the Clinton's racists and forgetting conveniently that while Barrack Obama was siding wiht slumlords who turned the heat off of the poorest black Chicago folk in the dead of winter, that William Jefferson Clinton's admin saw a median income rise of 17000 dollars in blacks nationally AND a 23% reduction in black poverty. Obama: nothing.
So let them go sabatoge the Republicans. In the long run, and perhaps even in the short run the party will be better for it.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Actually the truth is blacks were all for HRC, and why shouldn't they have been given how well they did under the Clinton Administration? What changed was not Hillary botching anything, but rather when Oprah Winfrey went hoofing on stage for Obama and got enough 15 minutes of fame out of it for him to carry Iowa - make no mistake he wouldn't today.
That's when blacks decided maybe Obama was viable and as usual skin color trumped all for them. Never mind that Obama had never done a damned thing for blacks in all his years in Illinois, but the Clinton Admin. sure as hell had.
Then when Obama started race-baiting in SC it was all over.
In the end Obama's going to be the worst thing that ever happened to blacks, I just know it. They're going to find themselves irrelevant in both parties.
