Sorry, but a guy who didn't even open the door to his Senate Office before he was running for President and his looney supporters blathering about his opponents supposed "entitlement" mentality is just preposterous.
Similarly liberal dinosaurs from Kennedy and Kerry to Richardson, endorsing a candidate their own constituents solidly rejected is worse and they deserve whatever fate awaits them at their next election.
It's been clear to any rational being at least since SuperTuesday that Obama can't get the margins in the elderly and hispanics that he needs, that any Dem needs to win against McCain. Not to mention Catholics and blue collar voters.
This without even getting into the pesky details of Resko, Axelon, Wright, Ayers, etc etc which obviously the GOP is ready to fire, and I do mean FIRE on. All fresh new red meat too.
In a sane world we wouldn't even be arguing about it. We wouldn't have this liberal surefire loser shoved down our throats AGAIN by tghe liberal wing of the party, oh, I'm sorry the "netroots".
However obviously 8 years of George W. Bush just wasn't enough for them. Maybe a solidly Republican Supreme Court will be, because that's what we're looking at.
I think it goes back to the whole seating of the states. I could be wrong, but Florida and Michigan's state legislatures are the ones who wanted to be first in the election cycle. And those legislatures are GOP controlled. They wanted chaos.
Why Howard Dean chose to give them exactly what they wanted is beyond me. When they called his bluff, when they essentially beat him, he should've surrendered. Florida and Michigan should've had regular elections, and it should be up to them to decide when to hold them. This was a classic blunder on the democrats part. They intervened in the state's will to choose when to hold an election. I'm a die-hard democrat, and all I can do is shake my head in disgust at this lack of foresight, this lack of ability to see a ploy for what it is, this lack of ability to step aside from the trap.
We lose because of this. We absolutely lose and we look idiotic doing it. Why hasn't Dean been fired yet?
All of this is SO very true. So very very true. But don't expect the liberal latte types to ever recognize it. Remember them shoving Dean down our throats as DNC leader even as NOBODY and I mean NO established Dem thought this a good idea. Remember them bitching and moaning about all the money Terry McAuliffe used to raise? I guess it's better now to have a bankrupt DNC and an a moron for Chair. Kinda like it's a great idea to pull up a half-black, half-Muslim super-liberal with no experience and a long history of hanging out with shady types out of the dregs of Chicago to be your nominee.
Let's ofer a few facts already
Clyburn is anything but "neutral". Largely he's pandering ot his black constituents who keep him in office.
None of us are morons. We all know the Obama campaign planned all along to interject race to get ahead in SC after his Iowa victory.
We all have watched their bullshit of throwing hte kitchen sink at Hillary right down to Harry and Louise commercials that the GOP ran and then whining and crying victim and racist when they get a little back.
It's been a "black thing" all along either for the blacks alighing behind Obama > 90% and for the latte liberals promoting him just because he's black (whatever they say aside).
Now don't whine as America solidly rejects your hypocrisy.
AMERICAN DOES NOT WANT AN INEXPERIENCED, SELF_SERVING, RADICAL MUSLIM CROOK FOR PRESIDENT.
This is obvious now. And I believe what you're seeing is Obama's political backers trying to save themselves. Obviously Clyburn a black in an all black district is going to pander to the black victim mentality.
The loyal opposition! Wallowing helplessly in defeat as John McCain begins a candy-store easy victory in a landslide.
Geez, people. You put up an inexperienced super-liberal Again, THE SAME kind America's electoral votes have been telling you they want no part of for at least 30 years. A guy with no experience, running a race-baiting campaign, spewing touch-feely detailless nonsense about "hope" with guitar music. This is exactly what America doesn't want or need now. But you've been doing it so long you don't even know how to stop cutting yourself. You don't know what else to do but run a loser and then whine and cry about the inevitable loss.
Those of us who tried to tell you to stand behind your more moderate candidate you turned on like rabid loons the likes of which I have never seen even in 53 years. You gleefully cheer as millions of voters are attempted to be disenfranchised and screamed for a woman who was winning primary races to "step out". Pathetic.
You are at least as rabid and disgusting and undemocratic as the radical right. AT least.
John McCain and the 3 super-right appointments he will make to the supreme is EXACTLY what you deserve.
