Obamateur's need to grow up.
[Read the article: Will the Democrats flop in Denver?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Instead of serving as monuments to vulgarity, the Obamateurs need to grow up and face facts.
Obama hasn't won any of the important states and he can't make any margins with elderly, hispanic, or blue collar voters that Dems must win. This has been obvious since super Tuesday and Texas, but it's glaringly so now. He is electorally, prospectively the weakest Dem candidate since Dukakis.
Anyone who does not want President McCain needs to have a strong cup of coffee and face the fact that Hillary Rodham Clinton remains our viable candidate and to fast get behind her.
We can only hope the superdels have the good sense to accept what the obamateur's have petulantly refused to.

[Read the article: Will the Democrats flop in Denver?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]For her, bitterness is innaceptable, but hopelessness is a proper road to take. For our family and our friends, if she succeeds shoving herself down our throats, she will not be worth a trip to the booth in November.

My sentiments exactly, only swap the names around.
If you latte liberals insist once again upon shoving what is an utterly unqualified, two-bit crook, and prospectively the weakest general election Dem since Dukakis down our throats because of what amounts to some convenient anti-war posturing and being half Muslim black and the lefty feelgoodism that gives you, than up yours with him and the inevitable landslide loss you'll have.

Wrong
[Read the article: Obama can't close the deal ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]And also, I'm tired of people saying that he can't win in the general. He will if you vote for him
er, no he can't. He fares dismally with the elderly, hispanics and blue collar voters and Catholics. Nor with needless to say evangelical populists think he's got terrorist ties (he actually does domestically) and is the anti-Christ (he was Muslim in fact most of his life).
Critically important Dem consistuents demonsrate, no, he can't possibly win. This has been demonstrated over and over again in every major state that Dems need from Mass to California to Pennsylvania and the South west.
Had he not registered about 10 million "new" Dem voters who were Republicans willfully voting as spoilers, he likely would have lost Penn by 30 points instead of 10.
Sorry, I'm not trying to be mean to the Obama supporters (vulgar as most of them are) but it is time to grow up and face facts.
If Obama is shoved down our throats he WILL lose to McCain demonstrably and gigantically. It will be a blood bath.
The lesson is the left needs to grow the fck up and work as a coalition in the Democratic party instead of a petulant self-destructive spoiler.

Exactly!
[Read the article: What Pennsylvania tells us]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Barry Obama lost working class voters BIG. Bigger than expected. Bigger than a margin that would allow any thinking person to believe he still stands a chance against McCain.
Barry lost every big battleground state.
Barry has already cast himself as the elitist, out of touch ultraliberal wimp. Worse, he did it to himself without the GOP's help.
The Democrats now have two choices: award the nomination to a certain general election loser or award it to a likely general election winner.
Exactly! It's past time for the childish obamateur's to grow up and become practical instead of serving as monuments to vulgarity.

Oh well.
[Read the article: Anti-Obama ad a winner for McCain]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]And this is a surprise? Let's see the 10% of scattered liberal voters who call themselves the "net root", largely white male latte liberals and some obnoxious African-Americans insist on shoving a super-liberal whose name is Obama, comes from a Muslim family (on both stepfathers life) and who is wet behind the ears, a sure fire loser down our throats. (Again).
Some Dems are smart enough to see it coming (take the people of Mass and California for instance) and try to stop it. Nonthless Pelosi, Kerry, Kennedy, the usual has-been clowns, go directly against their constituents votes and endorse the sure-fire loser, who by then had enough baggage from Resko to Wright, to pave a Chicago super freeway...
And now it's a surprise (wow!) that the GOP would use it against us.
LOL.
I think it's evolution folks. I ironically those dumb old bible thumpin red states are a lot smarter than the left. The left serves as yet another example of minds ruined by higher education.

he's not electable.
[Read the article: Anti-Obama ad a winner for McCain]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Rational, sane people interested in winning would not even be having this conversation as it's been obvious since super-Tuesday when he lost the hispanic vote in both NJ and California and the Catholic vote in Mass in double digits.
Throw in the Resko stuff, long before Wright, and it's just preposterious that anyone would still be promoting him, much less trying so hard to take down the candidate we had that WAS viable (but now has been crippled by this long-drawn never should have happened, contended nomination process with kitchen sink throwing).

Christopher, are you for REAL?
[Read the article: Anti-Obama ad a winner for McCain]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]That's obvious. I mean, it's irrelevent that he's won both the most popular votes and the most caucus votes
Dude, please. do you really believe this? He hasn't won the popular vote unless you disenfranchise the voters in Florida and Michigan (and those who have still to vote), something you were opposed to in 2000, back when it was convenient to oppose it.
And caucuses prove NOTHING. Just a bunch of lefty-lefts who can afford to hang out all day and vote for the (gen election unviable) super lefty candidate.
In fact, if anything, I would say the winner of the caucuses should almost certainly NOT become the primary candidate if only because they're near certain to be unviable.
