@ A - once again your arguments are highly flawed.
[Read the article: Misadventures in logical reasoning -- and lessons learned from the Spitzer scandal]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]That you cannot see the ugliness coming from Hillary's supporters also is most illuminating.
You're right. I haven't. and stuff like this below doesn't exactly enlighten me.
A larger percentage of them will not vote for Obama than Obama supporters for Hillary.
So they say. But so far all I know is they aren't writing hate letters to all of his campaigners and threatening to throw bricks and instill riots if they don't get their way.
Name me another nation which has more Christian rhetoric surrounding it's government, where one cannot run for office without expounding upon one's piety..
That's your opinion, and like certain parts of human anatomy, everyone has one.
One nation, under God.
In God we trust.
God Bless America.
What conclusive proof you offer! You're an idiot.
I didn't much care for Clinton, among other things he signed NAFTA
Yes, so what. You would have gotten it anyway, only without the protections and limitations Clinton insisted upon. The Clinton economy was so good nobody at all cared about NAFTA, particularly since there was by far a net gain of (good-paying) jobs.
The facts knee-jerks don't ever bother with is that the lion's share of US job losses to globalization went to ASIA and had nothing at all to do with NAFTA whatever my opinion on it not withstanding.
In the Bush years, the predominant problem was that there were no new jobs created in the USA, and the few that were consisted of low-paying service sector jobs in numbers that didn't even keep up with new entry into the job market.
So in conclusion, for Godsakes, instead of spamming meaningless text and nonsensical arguments, open an F-ing book and LEARN something!

@Won't get fooled again
[Read the article: Geraldine Ferraro still needs to apologize]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama and his supporters let the racial genie out of the bottle with their unwarranted attacks on Hillary Clinton for factual, pertinent statements about LBJ's role in passing historic civil rights legislation. This effort to malign the Clintons' well earned respect and affection amongst the African-American community helped Obama make a comeback after New Hampshire, but it has tarnished the campaign since.
Nobody needed a "Black Candidate". They needed an effective president for ALL people . OB's hideous race-baiting and ever escalating nastiness has now ensured we won't get one. And he knows he can't win with a liberal white and urban black vote. No one ever has and no one ever will. We very much needed those blue-collar, working women elderly, hispanic and independent voters he's near entirely alienated.
His supporters are the ugliest,base and self-destructive people I have ever come across. Bar none. He has encouraged them to be like too that which is just repulsive.
I understand that Michelle and Obama said they didn't care if they won and just liked the competition. There is only one reply: Clearly.
Regardless, the way they have divided the party AND the country along the racial lines that took so very long to make the limited healing we did makes them just the scum of the earth in my book.
They'll drive back to Lakeshore Drive in November like Oprah Winfrey, financially better off for it, and it won't bother them a bit either.

@Ach

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Don't be so disingenuous. You obviously thought I was female and your references to me as a "dog" and salutations of "sweetie" along with much of the message content (if u want to call it that) stinks of misogyny, among other bigotry such as you have demonstrated towards Christianity. I can only conclude in your mind that bigotry is fine if it's against the correct individuals and that just really sucks.
As for what credentials you believe I do or do not have there is only one reply "frankly my dear". Anyone with an opinion I might ever care about would easily recognize you as a wholesale moron with your ever more emotionally ridden ad hominens and preposterous claims:
"In God We Trust" on a coin is proof of a theocratical nation, education has no value, prostitution as a solution to global poverty, etc ad nauseum - all claims you did in fact make within the past 24 hours if anyone has the stomach to go back and look.

@Uncle Fester - LBJ v MLK/JFK
[Read the article: Ferraro resigns from Clinton campaign]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]think I'd rather choose to follow in their footsteps [ JFK MLK on speeches] than in LBJ's.
Great insight Doc. So wonderful to know that some nice speeches were more important than signing the civil rights act into law. ;-)
See this is where Obama's folks lose me.
Under the Clinton Admin, unquestionably the most black friendly Admin since LBJ and Lincoln, black median income rose 17,000 dollars annually and black poverty fell 22%, yet Obama's supporters can be counted upon to trash them with a white hot fire. Meanwhile back in South Chicago, Obama's constituents are in a worse place than ever; he made no noteable gains or progress for them - nor did particularly try to.
Go figure. As they say no good deed goes unpunished. But at the end of the day results SHOULD BE what counts.
I agree - to an extent - with the persons who argue that in Iowa enough whites voted for Obama (thanks to Oprah's still fresh effort) to excite blacks and perhaps think he was viable. So what? It still amounts to black people rushing to align behind a candidate because of his race.
That's all. We're all saying the same things over and over and over now.
