That's how it works. The person who wins the primaries gets the nomination. Obama did it the old fashioned way, he earned it.
Just so long as you disenfranchise two big swing states, shut down and shout her out of a race in a dead heat despite all your race-baiting and outspending her 5:1 and so forth, and shut everything down before she takes ANOTHER two big victories in WVA and KY, and so forth and so on.
Just so long as we assign the delegates by swarmy leftwing caucuses instead of how the people voted and can pick up plenty of delegates from states you lost like Nevada and Texas, right?
Yeah, you're a real icon of democracy, dude. You make Tom Delay seem like Thomas Jefferson.
He is correct, the Democratic Party has chosen Obama. It's a done deal. Now all he can do is slink back to his rat hole and watch as Obama cleans McCain's clock. Shawn, seriously dude, you are as demented as your man McCain. Has Rush been sharing his oxycotin with you?
No dear. Try to have some small kernel of honesty in that hideous personality of yours. The Democratic party chose Hillary . Overwhelmingly every single one of the big electorate Democratic states picked Hillary by double digits save for the Nobamateur's Illinois.
Disproportionate lefty caucuses in states that just happened to be solidly Republican worked in Nobama's favor as well as stirring up the AA community into a race-baited fenzy.
Let's not confuse that with a Democratic Party, and certainly not with anything resembling the electoral votes to defeat a unified, astoundingly well-funded and admired Republican opponent who spent 30 years on the Senate Armed Forces committee.
So YOU dear, "crawl back into your rathole" and "prepare to take your rod" and all the other little vulgar slurs that define your darksided character.
You'll find a lot of folks will be happy to help kick you in there I'm sure.
There's just something too ironic about Obama's supporters spouting off about Hillary's supposed entitlement mentality to the nomination.
Let's see. A guy who just four years ago was sitting on a low ranking Senate seat in the Illinois state legislature voting on traffic violations IS entitled to it I suppose.
*And no, you don't get to count 3 years as a Senator he never showed up for.
We all know damned well if he wasn't half-black we wouldn't even be having this conversation, that we'd all agree it was too ludicrous to even discuss. So now who are you arguing has the entitlement mentality?
Again, that stinking hypocrisy that defines Obama's more repulsive supporters.
Oh, come on. MaddieP was one of the biggest gasbags in town in frenzying up the AA crowd into an anti-Clinton hysteria.
Now that she THINKS Obama has the nomination she wants to be friends again, all as she continues on with her Clinton trashing and lies and projecting what Axelrod did onto HRC.
HRC had to fight the right, the neo-left AND the AA community simultaneously something which no Dem ever ever should have had to do.. Not to mention the press. and that she did it and still came out in a statistical tie with the sob should give you some kind of idea as to what steel that woman is made of and what kind of fight she would have fought for you as President.
So leaving our great loss aside, which is not something I do easily, the not so little problem is I don't accept the lies and garbage MaddieP and others spewed about the Clinton's. We all know damned well it was the most black friendly admin in Us history and they served their entire lives to progressive causes and at no small price to themselves in the fire they took for it.
To then have the recipients of their hard work turn on them with such vitriol was revolting to me and still is. It made me lose all faith in both Obama and his supporters commitment to the poor and to struggling working families.
I told you folks you were going WAY to far and you needed to get the Obama camp to put a lid on their race-baiting and Clinton trashing as far back as South Carolina as it was becoming irrepairable.
And don't even get me going on the vulgar slurs that were and continue to be the trademarks of the six or seven Obama supporters logging in under their multiple aliases.
I hope you will take me at my word when I say unfortunately I just can't "get over" what happened and what Obama and his supporters did any more than I could when the right shut down lawful vote counts in Miami inciting riots. Not much difference really between shutting down vote counts and rigging election machines than race-baiting and trying to shout and bully someone into quitting a race before everyone has gotten to vote and conveniently deciding some votes don't count. I simply morally can't align with folks like "madame fauntley" and the 1500 alias she uses under any forseeable circumstances.
It all rather reminds me of something my ex-wife said to me once when I apologized for not working harder to save the marriage and told her if I could do it again I sure would have.
"That's the thing about life; you don't GET to do it again".
probably the best advice I ever got and now I'm offering it to you folks sincerely. This election is truly over. John McCain has it hands down. Try to learn something from your mistakes. And if you're a believer, definitely do some serious repenting. What you did was flat out evil.
have forfeited any rights to cognitive talk. McCain doesn't need campaign money; all he has to do is throw a dart at Salon, Huffingtom, and Markos; reprint the comments and say, "THIS is what "The Uniter" has plagued us with.
And, If I may, isn't there a saying, something about a pot calling a............?"
A-fkg-Men.
