[Read more letters about this article: Here]And I don't think Obama is a savior, and I don't endorse his willingness to include GOP in his advisers. But I still can't get my head around the fact that Clinton is willing to put all of the traditional Democratic issues (including the economy) behind the GOP's main issue -- especially conceding that 100 years in Iraq is better than whatever the other Democratic nominee is proposing (which, in future terms, sounds a hell of a lot more like Clinton).
Well, I can only note that it's interesting that Mrs. Clinton's publicly laid out plan to leave Iraq is somehow equiv. in your mind with McCain's 100 years while Obama's willingness to put the Republicans who endorse the war on his own cabinet doesn't bother you, has publicly denounced civil rights and the hard-earned wars of the sixties, and has scarcely recognized any voter exists save for the latte drinking crowd.
I guess as they say the human mind can rationalize anything it wants to.

yes, so he'll help ensure that Obama is the candidate. Then when McCain/Crist are leading by double digits and the RNC which already has quadruple the money that Howard Dean's bankrupt DNC has, they'll be able to focus entirely on Congressional races and this guy will have NAME RECOGNITION while the Dem is associated with a land-slide defeated presidential nominee.
In otherwords, you're cracking open the champagne a little early.

You have not a clue as to why Slider and I are chortling over Oberweiss; not EVERYTHING can be forced into a single format as you keep trying to do. Lighten up, you're embarrassing your colleagues.
With all due respect I made politically astute points which you can deride if you want, but Hastert's district after all, obviously leans Republican and I'm betting November proves me right, unfortunately. As another person noted earlier, I have been involved in politics and watched these things for a long time.
As for the rest, my posts have been consistently content-filled and reasoned despite the fact that 99.9% of the posts coming from the Obamateur camp are in fact vulgar slurs,inane personal attacks, references to Hitler, all things that truly DO qualify as immature "rants". In fact even messages offered by the comparatively civil "Reality Based Liberal" amount to propoganda and a silly game of throwing the kitchen sink at Hillary and then asking the rest of us to defend it.
If your idea of how to solve this involves hitting ME over the head all as your Obamateur colleages have remained conspicuously silent as three or four posters under 150 aliases have turned the thread into something that makes the Free Republicn seem positively intellectual than I'm embarrased for YOU. It justifies the Republican portrayal of the left as spineless weaklings. As another earlier posted noted, perhaps there is no more place in the Democratic party for the last holdouts of moderates.
Let's see how well you do without us.

I find that so insulting words fail me. Passionate I may be, but I've yet to call anyone a "kotex", compare them to Hitler, tell them to "lube up" and reactively paint everyone who disagrees with me as a "Nazi" and a "racist".
However, in much of the left's mind they have to demonstrate their "fairness" by dinging everyone instead of the true offenders, and I humbly suggest that it hasn't well served them.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]It sure seemed like you were throwing me in with the trolls like like "Tom Payne", MadameF and Manos whatever his sig was, among others who may well, for all I know, be the same person posting under multiple aliases and whose "content" if you want to call it that consists of personal attacks, slurs, race-baiting, offensive accusations and toilet humor. Just reading through the past few pages, or if as you say, you have been all night, I just can't see how any reasoned person could conclude anything like that.
I've regularly provided citations, engaged in political strategical discussions and history, and even with the cretins posting their moronic personal attacks and slurs the sort I've never seen anywhere else, as in EVER, the worst you can say I did was call someone rabid and vulgar, and quite fittingly so at that. I don't apologize for it either.
Now, I really am out.
