a_ignatious : your hypocrisy is amazing.

Kate, you snidely attack fellow Democrats for worshipping a ‘myth,’ and then one someone else responds rudely to you come back and tell us that he made you cry. What a piece of work you are. Total Hillary style. Bully someone, and then complain when they hit you back.

Oh, God please. How hypocritical can you get. You have stood by silently while both the Obama campaign and his vulgar followers have demonstrated their worst and even now you can't resist your assinine swipes at Mrs. Clinton who both outsmarts and outclasses you 100 fold.

The fact is Obama IS a myth and has a cult-like following from a few college students and black people who REFUSE to examine his record And you refuse to do it simply because he IS half-black and you're willing to let him off the hook for it in a way you wouldn't do anyone else.

Logically if we were going to hire someone promising CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE we all would look at two things:

1) How are they going to DELIVER this change, aka an intelligent PLAN in light of the obstacles and

2) have they delivered change in their past jobs.

In both cases Obama by an objective standard comes up sorely lacking.

Now try addressing the CONTENT of this post without crying racist persecution and attacking other intelligent beings with vulgar slurs and I'll actually reconsider my low opinion of you.

@LLB

I know it's hard to play with the grown folks, but do try to keep up. I posted that, not Tom.

I don't pretend to know or care, but I have noticed this interesting pattern of how when one of you starts crying the race card within moments there are ALL of you.

@llb - ALSO AS FOR GROWING UP

POT. KETTLE. BLACK. you have YET to contribute a single item of substance.

Calling every last person who is unwilling to give your Messiah a free pass a "racist" doesn't qualify as either intelligent OR grown-up in most circles.

ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh!

I already issued an apology. I don't believe Shawn, Nazi Member, has followed suit. Kate's still sobbing into her Kleenex (Note: Kleen, not Kot), and the thread has descended beyond redemption. But, if you'd like to use me as a voodoo doll, knock yourselves out.

A perfect record of race-baiting in every post AND it only took them five posts to bring up Hitler! More of that great substance, I suppose, from the Obamateur's.

Here's it exactly: what's wrong with the Obamateur.

I apologize for not responding to your post. But I have read about Obama's accomplishments and to me, they're too little, too late. I just can't see where he's made any substantial difference for those who could've used the support

This gets to the heart of the matter exactly. We can suffer through 10,000 more posts from the oink crowd screaming about nazis and racists and all that suffering tripe and then trying , moronically, to project their behavior on to others. However what it really comes down to is the Obamteur made NO DIFFERENCE in the lives of yes, poor black people, when he had the chance to. Instead he lined his own pockets and sided with Syrian slumlords who even turned the heat off on poor black people in Chicago winters. How in the name of all abandoned logic was that helpful to blacks such that they should be alienating themselves from people who were their allies for years and years.

One particularly repulsive poster, was one night asserting, ridiculously, the Clinton's had done "nothing" for black people. I proved to this vile person that during the "Billary" Administration black median income had risen a full 17,000 dollars a year and that blacks living behind the poverty line had fallen by over 33%. (and that all of these gains had been lost by the Bush Administration).

You would think a sane, rational person concerned about the welfare of poor blacks therefore would be

1) solidly supporting a return of the Clinton Administration and

2) doing all they could to keep John McCain out instead of ensuring his victory.

Then again, these may be elitist blacks as out of touch with hard-off blacks as the fringe white Obamateurs are with the working class of white Ohio.

@JL

I don't understand what some insulting supporters of Senator Obama on a "Letters" site in a tiny corner of the internet has to do with voting for Senator Obama or not. I'm sorry, I really don't. No one here, as far as I know, actually represents Senator Obama or works for his campaign. So no one here speaks for him in even an semi-official capacity. So what is the connection?

Actually there probably ARE Obama campaigners here. And I do agree that the vulgarian crowd of Obamateur's here should not be held against the man himself.

However, for me the problem is they are a particularly ugly mainfestation of the campaign the Obamateur has run. 1) The race-baiting that was an inherent part of the Obama campaign. Had his campaign not willfully picked apart a perfectly innocent and truthful speech of HRC's willfully to whip up a racist frenzy, the Obamateur would still be 20 points behind HRC and black people would still be acting like intelligent reasoned citizens instead of self-destructive bigots. Of course like every other Rovian inspired (or created) act, the Obama campaign denied all of this until they couldn't because they were caught with their campaign memos down around their internet.

I think what bothers me, and I suggest probably many of us, is the way the crowd here, albeit at a far far far more idiotic and vulgar level, engages in the same hypocritical tactics as the Obama campaign.

Ie, consistently taking the low road, while trying to project it onto those who haven't been.

BTW,

I thought someone was going to get the Salon Editor over here.

Understand at this point I expect the Obamateur crowd to make a raunchy hip-hop video seem absolutely classy, but still, it's gotten past ridiculous.
