It angers me to read about the great bail out the feds have for big industry and how they will do all they can to prevent "Wall street" from collapse. Are we in a recession or a depression? I am living the great depression of 2007-2008. now. I invested in real estate in hopes that it will help subsidize my living expenses as I get older. I was also hoping that I can use this investment to pay for my children's (4 girls) college education. Well, as of now, I have lost most of the properties to foreclosure and the remaining properties are pending the same fate. Why is it that I can't rely on my government to help me out. I tried to deal with the banks to avoid this fate to no avail. Now I'm two month behind on my own house struggling to survive. I am not alone here. I read and here about others losing their homes every day. My In-Laws and many close friends are suffering right along with me. I should feel so lucky as to still have my house. Others I know weren't so fortunate. I am glad that the government checks will be sent to people in need soon. I am afraid that to "little to late" seems to be the catch phrase with this current policy.
