Original article: Cindy Sheehan's wrong turn

Impeachment is now the will of the people.

Impeachment was not intended for use as a partisan ploy, but that's exactly how it was used against Bill Clinton by Republicans. It left an ugly taste in our mouths. It left scars on us as a nation. That was part of the long term plan by the party of secrets, lies, fake wars for profit, torture, spying, and stolen elections. Democrats in the future who called for impeachment would be accused of wanting revenge, called names, and their motives would be imputed as political. The time has come for Democrats to prove they love this country enough to save it, and let that love override fear of political retribution or accusation. Impeachment of these criminals has become the people's mandate. Not a partisan ploy, or revenge, but out of necessity. We ,the people, want answers instead of, "I can't recall." We want truth and justice, remember those? America has lost her way at the hands of corrupt fanatics, traitors, hypocrites, greedy corporatists, and cowards. Democrats have no choice but to impeach, not as a political ploy like the Republicans, but to reset this nation on its original Constitutional course. Democrats have a responsibility to restore balance, to be heroes instead of cowards. This nation can not move forward until the criminals who tried to ruin it are finally held accountable; before they attack Iran or allow another terrorist attack to force us into submission.

Old School Ladies- Overexposed

My simple theory explaining the negative polling from "older women" is that they've been brainwashed by the dominant right wing propaganda machine, a.k.a. American media, via prolonged exposure. (As a grandmother, I speak from experience.)There has been a concerted effort by the Right since the day Hillary Clinton became first lady to cast her negatively on every level. When talk radio was dominated by Limbaugh, he and his callers constantly said ridiculous things like, "She can't be trusted because she changes her hairstyle too much." Older women have listened to a plethora of hypercritical commentary and outright lies over the past seventeen years. They are hardwired to have an involuntary negative reaction to her. That is no accident. When she saw a "vast right wing conspiracy" in its early stages, she was dismissed. When she attempted national healthcare reform, she was dismissed. History shows us she was right in both cases. Fellow Middle Aged Ladies: I suggest deprogramming ourselves from the propaganda, and judging Hillary Clinton on her merits, good and bad. IF we can't articulate why we "hate" her, or find ourselves repeating what others have said in the media, it's likely we're using our emotions rather intelligence. Haven't we lived through enough male presidents to know it's time for a qualified and competent woman in the White House to clean up the mess?

Original article: Newt goes off message

Newt overestimated his audience.

Those brainwashed liberal hating zombies can't digest truth, even when one of their own feeds it to them. They'd rather have their ears tickled by the likes of Inhofe and Malkin who have the credibility of Holocaust deniers. The future, under republicans, will affect Mr.Gingrich's grandchildren as horribly as it will affect mine. That realization, and the fact that conservatism under his party has been a complete failure, is the basis for his change of heart. But his message won't penetrate the shell of hate and ignorance those young republicans cling to so tenaciously. It would take a reinstatement of the draft to wake up those clueless hypocrites. But I'm sure they'd emulate their leaders who found a way to dodge the draft. Or they'd do what our Demander and Thief did- hide out in a cushy assignment care of the taxpayers. Mr.Gingrich assumed that audience was open minded.

The fact they showed up to hear that line-up of haters and liars should have been a tip-off.

Were Cons-and-selfserve-atives born without common sense and social responsibility? Or were they indoctrinated to hate through their apostate form of christianity? That's it- too many summers at jesus camp!

look forward. not back. be a positive role model. chose freedom.

when i was young, skinny and beautiful, i thought i was fat. i "hated" my legs despite other girls' envy, and so on. i didn't know why i was stared at, and it bothered me. (it's a form of aggression in the animal kingdom.) now i know one of the origins of my low self esteem. clothing, hair and makeup corporations promoted images for women that produced huge profits for them resulting in huge burdens on us. (twiggy was an image costly to duplicate.) now it begins earlier, in first grade, and doesn't stop at middle age. lizard looking fat lipped grannies freak me out. meg ryan's beauty is gone for me, not because she's aging; she's mutilating. it's disconcerting to look at her! women need awareness of the powers promoting self loathing, at any age. plastic surgery is one more temptation/burden piled on. what next? brain transplants into younger bodies? aging is painful enough physically. maturity means freedom from manipulation, and acceptance of the entire self, going within, taking time to care for yourself on all levels. jesus said to 'love thyself.' who's telling us to hate ourselves? stop putting your power into other's hands! what a waste. external beauty is a gift transcending inner beauty in a shallow society. and a distraction when our world needs our serious attention. less is more. balance is kind. stop judging. establish a new mantra of self love. it will find its way into our feminine consciousness. maybe we can spare the troubled young women of today the burden of self loathing so they won't look back at their photos and say, i was so skinny, why did i feel fat? i was so pretty, why did i feel unattractive? why did i spend so much money on clothes and makeup when i should have saved? energy is precious and powerful. use it wisely.channel it.
