I enjoyed the video
[Read the article: Sex studies are bad business]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]There's also research indicating that hormonal levels play a much bigger role in determining behavior and personality than the actual gender of the person. Remember that study where they discovered that football players have both high levels of both testosterone and estrogen? In other words, it wasn't simply high testosterone that made football players aggressive on the field. Conversely, there are indications that being exposed to a higher level of testosterone in the womb make some females better in spatial skills than male counterparts. There's a huge possibility that women will come out on top when more unbiased research is done. In the meantime, we can be like the best of scientists and keep our skepticism of new research.

Ethics versus religious dogma
[Read the article: Hey, skinny bitch!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I refuse to read a book with a title like Skinny Bitch, even though I know it's meant to be humorous and trendy. As a vegetarian, I understand why Julie Klausner finds vegans sanctimonious. I have met sanctimonious vegans who approach people they do not personally know and start to harass them. I get embarrassed whenever I witness those scenes. Also I worry that they are doing more damage to vegetarianism by portraying it as an emotional, religious dogma when it is a logical, ethical choice made by individuals over the course of their life time. You don't have to be concerned with fashion trends or a hysterical shrill to be either a vegetarian or an ethically-minded omnivore. All you need is the courage to do your own research.

Not to mention
[Read the article: Death and the D.C. Madam ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I don't know any woman who has killed herself in her elderly mother's property. That seems horribly cruel unless she hated her mom.
