@dh490311

Iam thoroughly disgusted with this administration.

Just when you think it can't go any lower, both Bush and McCain-Palin rip themselves a new one.

It seems as if they don't even care anymore about their ratings, since they "know" the Republicans will "always" win this and future elections.

At least the Nazi party & Hitler aimed to please people and made sure the economics were on sound footing: This government doesn't even try that anymore.

I dearly hope that *if* Obama wins this election, he should bring the whole corrupt administration in this same california county courts, get them convicted and sentenced for outraging modesty...

People would buy tickets to watch that trial.

*sigh* i can only wish for it...Bush has screwed up the economy so bad that Obama's strength will goto fix it, and not prosecute Bush.

Nice diversion BushPaulson !

@ThinkFast

...and what's your point?

yeah, yeah, you have ranted as much as you can; let your steam off; now get back to work: how else would your CEO benefit from the Golden Parachute? Oh, BTW, you can kiss goodbye to your mortgaged home: The Golden Parachute benefits only CEO, CFO and the Board.

Good luck with McCain and Palin my friend.

May the Almighty give you a place in heaven... i pray for a misguided soul like thee...

Why are you saying McCain will win?

Why is your title so defeatist?

Are you sure that McCain will steal this election just like Bush did in 2000?

McCain is not an underdog who is struggling against a rich banker.

McCain IS THE rich man here, who's struggling to overcome his own stupidity, fascist views and idiocracy to defeat a candidate who the world appreciates and americans love by a factor of 2:1

McCain may be a media's darling since he is well-connected and rich and who practised polygamy, unlike a black, middle-class fresher.

Stop publishing articles that "possibly" portray McCain would win.

He SHOULD NOT.

The first action he would take is to hand over Treasury keys to JP Morgan's CEO so that they could avoid bankruptcy by siphoning ALL our tax money to JPM and other banks, such that citizens would be left eating cardboards for lunch.

It is stupid authors and editors like you who bring down the press with your dumb articles.

One more article like this, and am canceling my Salon subscription.

Pull back slowly away

You have two choices now:

1. Throw away all you have struggled for, and go the hippie way: walk away from your marriage to join this 18 yr old on a world tour or something.

2. Back away from the precipe and move back to your life.

You had a one-night stand: that's it.

Now step back, and DON'T breath a word of this to your husband: not only does it reaffirm his views, but you run the risk of losing everything.

Preferably move away elsewhere.

Original article: Don't call it a bailout

Time to lynch all congressmen especially Pelosi

Pelosi and Obama are so terrified of losing the election that they are willing to support whatever blind and outrageous and corrupt bills Bush brings.

I mean, both did not even blink before supporting the bill that throws our money away to the Rich Banks which do not hesitate to even kill us for our mortgaged homes.

Both think this is catch-22: if they don't support this bill and economy goes down the tubes, the Dems don't get elected. If the bill passes and the economy still goes down the tubes, they will get elected.

I mean, i have NOT seen such selfish politics except probably in Nazi Germany.

What Obama and Pelosi are thinking is to wait with their teeth clenched until they win the election and then swoop down like vultures on Republicans.

But that's a stupid idea: The republicans know that strategy: they also know that money talks: Hence they made sure $700 billion as a ransom.

If Obama pursues Bush, Paulson and Cheney, the economy will be held hostage again with the money Obama voted for.

Simple.

Dumb ass dems.

The whole congress should be shooed away from House, and moreover every single one of the bastards who voted for it should be lynched in their home town: add to that the Town Hall should vote for their properties to be seized.
