Don't listen to all these ultra-feminists. Marry the one who respects you.

All these feminists are just messing with you.

Don't listen to them, else you will end up being 40 with a lots of cats for your company, unless you are Jennifer Aniston.

Obviously these ultra-feminists are not listening to what YOU want. You want to settle down with a good man, have kids and grow up gracefully.

First of all if kids are important to you, then marry the dependable guy. Because kids cost a lot of money. Funny man will not be around and will not be fun once you marry him.

Second, the unfunny man likes and respects you a lot. The Funny man doesn't respect your wishes. He's just for the cake. If he already has a child and is single, chances are you too may end up single with a child.

Forget all these ultras. They just want to impose their wishes on you.

Being free also means responsible for your own future.

You have made a choice, now make it work.

Original article: Obama's hopes Daschled

@Tideswimmer

You forgot to add: "Unacceptable": a word uttered by GWB every day when he makes a mistake.

Obama is a mature president, unlike the emotionally retarded texan.

By stating "Sorry" Obama has taken the wind out of the sails of many a right-wing-nut paper/radio/TV

However, the fact remains is that he cannot use the word quite often.

Obama needs to pound Republicans into the soil...completely and entirely

Obama is naive in wanting to "work with" Republicans.

He doesn't understand: Nobody works with Republicans. They are the Nazi party of USA.

Unless their Hitler is in power, Republicans will not negotiate.

Obama needs to file criminal cases against top Republicans and pursue them to completion either way.

People now hate Republicans very much. They will support this witch hunt very well.

Unfortunately Obama is not a Stalin. So he will not vigorously pursue his enemies.

Obama needs to learn one lesson: Republicans are ALWAYS the enemy of America.

Always.

Problem is peculiar from two conflicting viewpoints

Nothing will EVER be done because of two peculiar points:

1) Military viewpoint: A soldier from the day he enlists is told to unconditionally obey and respect his superiors. This is drummed into him by the Drill Sergeant and others by various forced means. The idea is to break him down as an individual and remold him as a TEAM man who obeys orders without question. This is done to make sure the soldiers do not run away under fire and work as a cohesive unit during war.

Unfortunately, the individuality in the soldier has not entirely gone away. It has been hidden underneath. Human nature is complex. It surfaces at times of extreme stress. Which is why Nero played the fiddle when Rome was burning and soldiers have been known to sing or lie down when placed under extreme stress. The Army is keen to wipe out this individuality since it threatens morale and fellow soldiers. Unfortunately it ends up sweeping it under the rug, and the feeling comes out when the individual is under great stress.

How to cure it? Obey what the human DNA says: each person is unique. We are not brutes or animals to obey unconditionally. We are intelligent human beings. With ability to question.

Train them differently in a way that respects their individuality yet reinforces their team work by rewarding them instead of extreme punishment.

2) Political situation: Politically a military that is subservient to a Democratic government is always a slave to policy makers. The politicians know that the military does not represent a threat to them: physically or politically. Hence they don't take steps to rectify the situation. After all politicians always "react" to situations that hit them directly.

Will he be Bold enough to Tax the rich ?

The question is will he tax the rich and super-rich at punitive rates to redistribute income?

People may argue that punitive taxing is a sure way to make the rich flee and leave us all poor.

But in USA it exactly is opposite. Consider this:

Since 1970s the top 1% of the rich own 30% of total wealth.

The rest 99% own the rest 70% of the wealth.

And the bottom 1% of poorest own in negative!

The Rich becoming richer may seem like an American dream, but the reality is far uglier.

The poor have needs to fulfill. So any income beyond their existing income will go straight into the economy to be ploughed back.

The rich do not need anything: they will just soak up extra cash and sit tight.

Who loses if the rich become richer?

The WHOLE DAMN economy!

Until Obama removes all tax benefits to the rich and force them to pay more taxes, this stimulus will just result in more of our taxes flowing to the richest.

Unfortunately not even Obama is powerful or strong enough to increase taxes on the rich.

Senate is enough to kill any initiatives since they've got the back of the richest, and the House Dems will bicker long enough with the weakling Pelosi to halt any bill.

Meanwhile JP Morgan will come riding into the town to save the USA from the poor's grimy hands and will in turn demand a pound of flesh as the shylock it is.

Next year, same time the rich will be richer by soaking massive amounts of stimulus and not releasing it into the economy.
