What the Republicans want...

What the Republicans are trying to say is ALL, i mean ALL Democratic Presidents INCLUDING Abraham Lincoln were responsible for the current situation of the USA and the world.

Lincoln according to them was responsible for increasing crime by freeing blacks.

FDR was responsible for Japanese Attack on pearl Harbor AND prolonging the Depression since was a war monger and wanted War.

JFK was responsible for his death by "caving" into USSR.

Clinton was responsible for the Housing market dive south today.

And Obama is responsible for the breakup of the USA.

Unfortunately all this would be true IF the spineless democrats and their jelly Pelosi do not set up a human rights commission, tried and convicted Bush and Rove, Rumsfeld and Gonzales, Ashcroft and Cheney.

The weakness of Democrats: They never go in for the Kill. They always let the Republican snakes escape.

...and that is why in 2012 Palin will be President.

How far? Answer is None.

because GOP will NEVER, EVER support Obama for the following reasons:

1) Their "magic negro" comment and their unreprentant attitude shows they hate Obama personally.

2) Republicans by their very nature seek power only for themselves and have made it a policy to NOT cooperate with any non-republican. e.g., Newt Gingrich made such a HUGE fuss and got clinton impeached over an affair while he himself was silently having such an affair. Talks a lot.

3) Republicans are the neo-nazis: They seek power for power and will not hesitate to kill children to achieve their ends. e.g., Killing the GOP treasuer for the 2004 campaign, and outing Valerie Plame.

Hence, Obama should NOT expect any support from GOP nor should he go begging to them.

The Dems have enough majority, plus the people's 79% support.

Heck, a guy with a persistent 29% majority and a wafer-thin House majority and spouting "God speaks through me" crap could get the toughest legislations passed quite easily.

Obama is in a far better position. Threaten the GOP senators into submission or out some of them like they did to valerie plame.

The next 4 years should result in conviction of atleast 20 major GOP morons. Only then Obama can wash off their stain on the fabric of USA.

Original article: I was fleeced by Madoff

Never put your eggs in one basket

Its as old as civilization. Why did you put all your eggs in one basket? Is it because madoff offered "reasonable" returns, steady at 10% p.a. and in a world of get-rich-quick schemes you thought this would be true?

Even then why did you invest all your money in one scheme?

Banks which did this failed and got bailed out because TBTF.

You and me will NOT be bailed out. Hell, we need to pay taxes on the money which we lost as part of phantom profits!

At an age when the Government does its damndest best to support large banks at your cost, but let you to fail because you are TSTM (Too Small To Matter), you should have been wiser.

You deserve the blame for this misjudgement. Fully and completely. Madoff did not steal your money. You voluntarily donated it to him.

Original article: W. and the damage done

@Carmina

Interesting. You know you are right because:

Clinton was the WORST president US ever had, apart from FDR who had the Galls to introduce new deal and the damned social security which invested the suckers' money in Treasury Bonds instead of the high returns stock market.

Second by producing a budget surplus, Clinton prevented many an stock broker from earning honest money and thus directly contributed to the Madoff affair.

Thirdly by continuing to keep terrorist attacks off the US mainland, clinton failed to raise awareness of the real problem terror amongst US citizens by refusing any terrorists to attack US mainland through his stupid, stoid listening to his moronic intelligence chiefs.

Fourthly by introducing medicare for the poor and elderly he stole money away from highly qualified and well paid doctors who could have provided better, high-priced medical care to those elderly who could have been treated faster by pledging their homes or heirlooms or borrowing from credit cards.

Fifthly by forcing Freddie & Fannie Mae to extend loans to middle and low income groups to buy their first homes, he deprived the high income group from buying those properties thus practicing racial discrimination.

Lastly his reduction of military budget steadily eroded US competitiveness in military action thus contributing to our spectacular defeat in Iraq. In a way Clinton was responsible for our defeat in Iraq as he had refused the military to buy its latest M1-Abrams and armor-proofed humvees.

NOTE: For the rest of the majority who are NOT republicans, please note the above post was sarcasm. For Carmina it is bible as Carmina really believes God spoke through her to trust Bush as the only disciple of Jesus and that Katrina was god-sent to clean up the wicked people just like God sent Sodom and Gomorrah into ruins.
