@Deeply Imbedded

You are a proven lunatic or a colonial hangover who liked to have his bare brown ass baked by the indian sun.

Here we have over 100+ killed indiscriminately irrespective of religion, creed or nationality and all you can dig is colonial attitude.

Even now we have 7 separate independent channels ALL blaming corrupt politicians, dumb shit local administration, careless and poor planning and every other murderer who got his palms greased.

And we have 41 different national newspapers clamoring for every damn minister's resignation.

And we have 82 FM radio stations all interviewing and relaying random on-road comments on this and people's anger on this.

If there was any agenda of the terrorists, it was to probably take down as much as they can.

If there is any agenda of our stupid government in this, it is probably to let this one also slide and continue to act as if nothing has happened.

Its a good thing we have elections coming up in 5 months.

We have a pretty good idea whom to throw out and whom to bring into power.

And its a good thing for Pakistan that it is democratic now.

@ jjppmd

Well said.

It is more surprising because india is a practising democracy and a republic.

The Motherfuckers had a very good opportunity and have opportunity to express their feelings and choices in election, We had examples where long-term politicians have been defeated cruelly.

Instead these motherfuckers chose to gun down hundreds of innocents with absolute no regard to who they killed or not.

Each one of these guys AND their promotors should be renditioned to Gitmo and the waterboarded 8 times a day. At the end of 5 years they should be castrated while conscious.

Bush was right in opening Gitmo.

These so-called-terrorists do NOT deserve the due process of law the cushioned Federal or State prison where they can watch TV, listen to radio and dig up dirt.

For these guys, there exist Gitmo.

KEEP GITMO OPEN!

@ rrheard

I was probably too upset and angry when i said i wanted to keep Gitmo open. My apologies.

What i meant was that Gitmo should be retained as a fear factor like Alcatraz where convicts went to serve their terms.

Instead of retaining Gitmo as a symbol of unlawful oppression, let it be an example of how convicted terrorists are sent to.

The same horrors of Gitmo remain (Dogs and all), but now meant for proven convicts judged by courts.

Your speech about Gandhi is right: Only that Israel doesn't believe in it and so US also doesn't believe in it. Why should India be at receiving end?

If these two countries could proactively hunt down terrorists, why should India remain passive?

On a totally unrelated subject, probably the Gandhi speech by one of the passengers on one of the jets flying into the Two Towers could have worked out well for you?

You don't negotiate under the barrel of a gun.

@agore

But just as they did after the partition of Palestine, the Muslims impose absolute theocratic rule in the their designated territory while at the same time angrily demanding the part that isn't theirs.

Ahh... there's your flaw my friend.

The palestine BELONGED to the muslims BEFORE 1948. It was the forcible partition of that country and settlement by British that led to current fiasco.

Read history once more.

This will go on until modern technology comes up with ways of killing sufficiently impressive numbers of them that the remainder realize that owning the world is not necessarily what Allah had in mind.

What an absolute idiotic, moronic and dangerously flammable statement.

The fact that 100% of terrorists of 9/11 and Mumbai are muslims does NOT mean 100% of muslims are terrorists.

Hitler and nazis stole Germany and embarked on extermination that led to millions of innocents being murdered. They were 100% German. Does not mean 100% of ALL germans during that time were nazis?

What a stupid argument you make.

I argued for opening of Gitmo as a legitimate prison, was misunderstood and flamed.

You on the other hand deserve much more than that.

You learn and move on...

You are worrying unnecessarily. Get your husband a copy of the Economist's Guide to Investment Strategy book and tell him the downfall.

I made the same mistake myself. I saved 75% in state investments (government bonds) and rest in 100% stock market investments (through mutual funds).

The market crash wiped me clean. I don't regret it.

Risk is inherent in any investment. The degree of acceptable risk over return is what makes an investment.

In 2006 i made an excel sheet and found out that More Risk does not mean more return. Neither does less return means less return.

I was calculating returns on Mutual Funds of a large bank (long term) versus the bank's own FDs and CDs and Gilt edge funds.

In a period of 1-2 years, investing in CDs and Gilt edge funds actually brought MORE returns than a riskier investment. (this was just before the crash: i should have understood the meaning). I switched more from stock market to these funds and had left only 25% in stock market when it crashed.

Do a research and read the book. Its very good.

@deering

Relationship?? Dominating???

WTF are you ranting about?

Why do you have to make every husband-wife argument into a women's rights and assault complaint?

The wife here was just wondering what her husband might say to her losses: He doesn't look like the wife-beating kinda guy (she NEVER said that).

And now you go and sow discord into their family through your permanent suspicion that every man who looks at his wife in anger wants to beat her.

What a moron.

Get off your high horse.

This was a plain financial advice. That's all.

Don't bring your life into this.

Move on...

It was just a crush. Move on.

Your education is more important. And since you had troubles BEFORE this cancer, it is important to utilize this opportunity to be a little selfish: go get your education.
