@Dorothy Parker

She knows if she marries this man, she'll end up a bitter old bastard haranguing smart young things on the Internet

Nowhere LW said that.

She specifically said she still loved this guy. But wants to break up with him.

Again, please, please read the original and comment: If you can't write without using foul language, then don't write at all. It only demeans you.

I never said i was against women making a choice or stuff like that, Don;t put words in my mouth.

Someone else had given a wonderful response to my queries in a clean concise and nicer way. I appreciate that and am thankful.

Iam not smart, am not brilliant, heck am not even good looking. You may be all that you claim to be. So tell me why do you resort to using bad language then? And you haven't answered both my questions.

Anger=Fear

Your school or college should have taught you that.

@ JugSouthgate

Thanks a lot.

This is the kind of response and explanation i was looking for.

You are right: The world has more choices now than it did in old days.

And LW is probably right in exploring choices. I would do the same,

Putting myself in her shoes made me realize that.

Thanks for a detailed and patient, yet decent explanation. Much appreciate it,

@Dorothy Parker

I rest my case. You seem to be one of those who think what they state is always right and those who question it must be wrong, ugly and dumb.

Thanks. You personify the Bush Karl Rove Era. Its a wonder you voted for Obama. Probably the first time he stumbles you would desert ship.

True, as i confessed earlier i haven't found my TRUE love yet. Or maybe i don';t even know myself.

You probably seem to have found it and are enjoying a rock solid relationship with the world's most wonderful man. Congrats! May you continue to do so unlike LW...

Be wary of placing too much expectation and crush the republicans completely

The Obamania is at a crescendo, much like the stockmarket during the dotcom boom.

We should taper it down, else we risk a huge backlash.

Obama is a human being first and a president second. He is fallible.

When the last bottle of champagne is broken and the last hurrah dies we wait and watch what magic he will bring.

Unfortunately, it is now up to us to make it work too. As Obama kept saying, Hope involves all of us working together, and not just the president pulling it.

He may make mistakes(although no one can be as bad Bush), and we should be aware that the Republican Mean Machine would pounce upon him to tear him to shreds, like they did Clinton (who balanced the budget).

Quietly continue to support Obama and show it in deeds.

Do not judge him now: The press would not give him a honeymoon.

Support him when he fails, for that is when he needs you most.

And most important of all, attack the Republican mean machine and not just defend against it. Defence never won wars.

There is talk of reconciliation: that obama appoint a republican; that will NEVER work and should not be allowed.

We all remember how Kerry conceded the election and told Bush that he would like to contribute. What did Bush do?? Did he appoint a Democrat to any cabinet post?

The Republican neocons are the new nazis. Crush them: completely. Start by attacking their media base: Fox, pass laws that undo media consolidation. Next attack their finance base: foist cases against the thousands of small-time republicans who should have done some illegal activities. Use the same laws that Bush passed to indict them. Yes this is partisan; but unless you act quickly to silence the Republican shills, you will lose freedom to act.

Already karl Rove is talking of 2010 wins. Implement the subpoena against him, and indict him in corruption cases.

Gingrich, that wife-cheating hypocrite, is talking of rebuilding the republican base. Attack him silently and have him Spitzered.

Do NOT allow the republicans to rear their ugly head again. Only then you would have peace.

You letter brought tears to my eyes.

No president-elect in the entire history has won so much accolades from around the world and so much support even before he assumes office.

I can understand your predicament having witnessed many a time in airplanes the distinct separation between lillies and the browns.

These past 8 years were the toughest the Great Republic had to endure: to have survived Darth Vader(Bush) and the Emperor(Cheney) and to come out stronger and more beautiful is the joy of America.

Welcome back America: Welcome back to the world. We welcome you with open arms and an open heart.

@tonia67

Thank YOU for electing Obama!

You have made a good choice, America. Now its up to the world to meet you half-way.

After 8 years of jibes, cruel texan jokes and insults, you SHOULD feel proud to be American again.

I can see the statue of liberty smiling and her torch burning brighter as the most corrupt, irresponsible, undeserving regime comes to an end.

Once again America has shown that it can't be defeated either from outside or inside.

I only hope you consign the past 8 years of bush to dustbin of history along with his cohorts like John Bolton, Rove, Rumsfeld and Cheney.

And i do hope you bring each of them to justice, get them convicted and sentenced to prove America is a country ruled by law and not political appointees.
