I salute you, and i bow to you.
It is hard-workers like you who made America beautiful.
It is you who should get a break from the government now for all the taxes you paid.
BUT, no... the government thinks that you should start rebuilding your life from scratch, while your tax money goes to fat cats who drew $117 million pay last year...
so the self-made image of a hard-worker that grew up america is gone and replaced by rich fat cats in their striped suits who earn millions and get a bailout...
Write to your congressman and your senator asking why should you not get back your tax money and why should JPM be bailed out?
Plus, next time you start a new business (which you will by God's grace), avoid paying ANY taxes. You have seen the effect of paying taxes: they go to feed someone else. So if your tax can't help you, why do you need to pay it anyway?
Leverage every loophole, and stop just one inch from being illegal... the IRS is not your girlfriend. So forget pleasing it.
Texas??? That is a state best forgotten and better kicked out of the Union.
Mexico would be glad to take it back, and we should be gladder to give it back.
Texas is a country by itself: populated by semi-intelligent wannabe-cowboys, rednecks and rangers carrying .48 magnum and shooting everyone in sight while drinking enough beer to drown texas and cheering the cowboy-in-whitehouse blindly...
If we remove texas from the union, whenever we get the urge to invade a nation for oil, we have TEXAS!
Texans would rather cut their arms off than vote for any Democrat candidate.
If Al Capone ran on neo-con Republican ticket, they would vote for him.
Over its short chequered history, USA has always been a self-sufficient, introvert nation which prides on two facts that are drilled into you from Age 3:
1. The USA is the Greatest Powerful nation of all. The schools teach US history until Grade 12. Only US history with a sprinkling of other old stuff like Roman Empire.
2. The USA has everything you need. This is again taught in schools as if US was the first nation to introduce Democracy to the world. Forget Rome or Greece.
The first fosters a sense of superiority which makes US discard UN, World Court, WHO, etc., and fume at ambassadors from poor african countries who have the same voting power as US itself.
This can discerned from the numerous Opinion letters sent to newspapers, TV and even movies.
That early drilling in childrens' minds about inherent US superiority and US is the BEST attitude cannot be changed. Hence automatically they think the rest of the world is crap. So why go there?
Would a Briton leave the comfort of his home to live in Botswana? NO!
Schools and media also teach that US has everything: crops, trees, food, fuel, electricity, goods, shoes, etc. So if US has everything why bother about the world when we don't need them? Right?
Exactly!
When you are strongest and have everything you need, would you go out of your way to please some goddamn piece of dirty rock filled with filth and located in the hottest place on Earth???
These kinds of "close calls", "narrow victory", "low margins" are the ways the Corrupt Republicans (oxymoron), will steal the election from Obama.
Such articles are a precursor to McCain's narrow victory or a Judicial Victory like Bush.
All the plans are in place to steal elections by a few hundred votes in every narrow state.
These articles are written by those in the pay of Republicans so that when Mccain "wins", the same republicans can quote these articles to state that people "narrowly" chose an experienced statesman like McCain over a newbie like Obama.
They will make it look so natural that people will agree to it faithfully, since the alternative would be to lose their jobs enmasse by jacking down wall street.
Pundits will go go Fox TV stating that Obama's victory would meltdown the stock market while a decision made for McCain would rally them....
and this is why US never has a perfect voting system...
Obama may be surging ahead in every opinion poll, but lets not forget Dewey-beats-truman Scenario.
McCain still has the formidable Rove behind it, along with Fox News.
Their funding arsenal is huge, and don't underestimate Rove who has consistently shown a victory streak from the days Bush became the governor of texas.
Now is the time for Democrats to push the final stake in republican's coffin.
Step up the attack ads democrats!
Make sure your TV and press ads portray McCain==Bush and Palin==Cheney.
Leave no stone unturned, don't be complacent, and never falter now.
Kerry did that and that cost him.
Drive the final nail with gutso and we will see the implosion of the neocons in Nov.
This is exactly what Salon and others have been crowing all year long...
McCain is NOT a conservative anymore (am not referring to neocons). And he is NOT a maverick like he used to be.
McCain is all that Bush wants to do in 3rd term.
He hates Pro-Choice(partly because his big donors are baby products companies), is a psycho who needs Anger Management.
