Media is one sided as well

Last week I happened to catch an ABC nightly news report on the Gaza situation. They showed the damage a rocket did to some elementary school in Israel. So of course the message was look how terrible the Palistinians are, bombing a school. What savages. Funny they didn't show any of damage the Israeli bombs have done to Gaza. They didn't show any of the dead Palistinian children, killed by Israeli bombs. They didn't point out the humanitirian crisis that is occuring in Gaza due to the blockade. You'd be hard pressed to find any mention of the crisis in Gaza, in any "mainstream media" press. A crisis caused by Israel's actions. It's only in the "leftist" media, like Democracy Now, that you see these things pointed out. So it's not only Congress that marches in lockstep with whatever Israel does. The corporate media does as well. All we get is one-sided pro-Israeli propaganda. Considering this fact, it's amazing that most Americans are against what Israel is doing in Gaza.

No decency

Sorry Joe, these people have no decency. They are nothing but human scum. Human scum that sold their souls for money. They are told what to say and they say it, whether they believe it or not. They are prostitutes in every sense of the word. Al Franken needs to indeed sue them for libel. Even if the lawsuit is thrown out, it will send a message. These people are lying about me and I won't stand for it.

Morefunky is typical

I'd like to interpet the two posts of morefunky. Wah Wah Wah I didn't get my way. Wah Wah Wah my party lost. Wah Wah Wah it's everyone's fault but my own. Wah Wah Wah how dare anyone disagree with me. Everyone is wrong but me. This is the typical right-wing mentality. It wasn't the excesses of the republican party that led to it's downfall. It was that evil "liberal media" that brainwashed everyone against them. Along with those "liberal" college professors that are brainwashing all our students. So insteading of looking within and wondering why America has rejected the republicans, he blames everyone else. Well morefunky until you and the rest of the GOP figure out why America rejected your party. Hint because your policies have literally bankrupted our country, and wrecked our economy. You guys are going to be spending a long time out in the political wilderness.

Provide the evidence please

To all those claim more votes were counted then voters in some MN counties. Please provide evidence of such a claim. Like a link to a respected news source. Sorry Worldnetdaily, NewsMax and other fringe right-wing "news" sites aren't a respected news source. Give us a NY Times article, Minnesota Star Tribune, etc If you can't give up that evidence, stop making this BS claim.

Original article: Bill Moyers on Israel/Gaza

Israel makes warning calls.

You got to hand it to our MSM, they dutifully report anything Israel wants them to without questioning. Did you know that the Israeli's call and warn Hamas leaders their house will be bombed? That's what was reported last week when a senior Hamas leader was killed, along with his 4 wives and 9 children. The Israeli military called and said we are going to bomb your house. Since he refused to leave his house, or order his family to flee, their deaths are his fault. I believe the Israeli's call and warn people about to be bombed, just like I believe unicorns actually exist.

Reality is a bitch

Basically JTP is saying. I want to believe in fiction (US is always right, Our troops never do anything wrong and always win the battle etc). Don't tell me about what's really happening, because it's a bummer. Well to JTP and all the other RWA's out there, REALITY IS A BITCH. Get used to it.

@human power

Don't forget to get a legal opinion from a lawyer that robbing banks is legal. If it works for the Bushies, why shouldn't it work for us common folk?

@heyjude

To heyjude and all the other Obama worshipers. I voted for the man, so don't accuse me of being a republican. But we voted for change, not more of the status quo. Of course we will wait to see what Obama actually does, but don't expect us to buy your conspiracy crap. Oh Obama is just playing possum until he gets into office, and then he'll get Bush for what he did. He doesn't want to tip his hand and have Bush pardon everyone before he leaves office. If you believe he is actually going to do that, I got some beach front property in Arizona for you. Obama has shown himself repeatedly to be a POLITICAL COWARD. All one has to do is examine his record. He has repeatedly done everything possible to avoid taking stands on controversial issues. What could be more controversial then prosecuting the former admin for war crimes? Obama is saying, in pretty clear terms, that he has no desire to prosecute what Bush did. He wants to focus on his agenda. He doens't want to look backwards. So if you are holding your breath waiting for prosecutions, I suggest you start breathing again.

What about the secret CIA prisons around the globe?

So Obama is going to order Gitmo closed. I'll believe it when it happens. But why does no one ever ask him about the secret CIA prisons around the globe? We have over 20,000 people being held in these secret prisons, that have never been charged with a crime. What will Obama do about those prisoners? Prisons we know torture is being committed in. Prisons that the CIA refuses to allow the Red Cross in to inspect. When will Obama be asked that question, is what I want to know.

He must prosecute

Now that Holder has said that waterboarding is torture, he has no choice but to prosecute those that waterboarded. This is my litmus test for the Obama administration. If they fail to prosecute Bush, Cheney, and the rest that authorized waterboarding, then Obama is a joke. Just the new boss but same as the old boss.
