I'm really tired of this false equivalency, that MSNBC is the left version of Fox. MSNBC doesn't lie to their audience day in and day out. Fox does. MSNBC commentators don't engage in name calling. Fox does. Bush was never called a nazi or Hitler or Stalin etc on MSNBC. Some poster said MSNBC won't have on people that disagree with them. Bullshit. Rachel Maddow always invites republicans on her show, they just refuse to come on. Anyone that says Maddow or Olberman spew hatred, obviously never watch their shows. For hatred just watch a few minutes of Hannity and Beck. You'll get enough to last you for the whole year.

Plus spare us the Obama is trying to shut down a news organization. Calling Fox what is it, an opinion network not a news network, is in no way trying to shut them down. Bush froze out the NY Times, NBC and MSNBC. None of the "liberal" media rushed to the defense of those news organizations defense when Bush was president. Access has always been part of the game in Washington. Every administration has picked those they will give interviews too and those they won't. It's never been controversial until Obama did it. Now we are all told to fear for our country. Our precious freedom of the press is under assault. Give me a break.

Here's what Reid is probably going to do. They will remove the public option to get past the filibuster. Then when the senate bill is in reconcilliation with the house bill, it will be put back in. A reconciled bill can't be filibustered. We will get a public option. Don't believe the hype, it aint dead.

So Squareville says the Harvard study is bullshit. Case closed, it's bullshit because he says so. See he wants to believe that no one dies from lack of health care in this country. So anything that contradicts that, must be by definition bullshit. It has to be a lie because it's not what Squareville wants to believe. Because if thousands of Americans do die every year from lack of health care, and thousands do die every year. While Squareville is opposed to anything being passed that would save those lives, well that might make him an immoral monster. He doesn't want to face that reality, so he says any study showing thousands dying without access to health care is bullshit. Ignorance is bliss, just ask him. He is as ignorant as they come.

First of all, no one said the answer to everything is the gov't. Typical right-wing strawman argument. The reason the gov't is the only solution to health care, IS BECAUSE THE FREE MARKET HAS FAILED. Since the free market has failed, the only thing left to fix it is the government.

My post title says it all. Medicare is only open to those 65 or older, or those permanently disabled. I believe you meant to say medicaid but you have no idea how that works either. To qualify for medicaid you have to be fucking destitute. You can't have any possessions, home or car. You have to have nothing before you can get it. You are just one of those fucking morons that think you know how things work, and you don't have fucking clue. As for the 45000 Americans that die every year, that comes from a study from Harvard. It was released a few weeks ago, I'm not surprised Fox didn't inform you of it. I'm sure it was just an oversight. LOL

Insurance premiums are going to rise regardless if health care reform passes. If nothing is passed, premiums will rise. If health care is passed, premiums will rise. As for rationing, we already have rationing of health care in this country. 50 million Americans have no insurance and have no access to it, that is rationing of health care. 45000 Americans die every year from lack of insurance, that is rationing of health care. Spare us the fear mongering about gov't denying care to seniors. We already have death panels in this country, they are called FOR PROFIT INSURANCE COMPANIES. It's the insurance companies that decide what kind of treatments you will or will not receive. It's the insurance companies that decide which drugs you can be prescribed, not your doctor. I'm a pharmacy technician and deal with this every day. Doctor prescribes a drug for patient and the insurance company refuses to pay for it. So I have to call the doctor and tell them to prescribe something else. It's the insurance companies that are between you and your doctor, not the government.

You need to give us a break dude. Ned Lamont didn't cause Lieberman to fuck us on this thing, Lieberman was always going to fuck us. Lieberman has always sided with the opposition and against his own party on every piece of progressive legislation. It is what he does, it is who he is. The fact that he maintains his seniority and chairmanship, is what pisses me off most. Reid should immediately strip him of those things. To send a message, you don't screw over the people you caucus with. If Lieberman wants to be a republican, then he should join the republicans. Letting him have his cake and eat it too, is why he doesn't fear doing this. He fucked us over when he went independent. He paid no price for that betrayal, thank you Obama for that. I bet he won't pay any price for this either, because Reid is too much of a fucking pussy to do anything. Plus Obama will probably interven again to save Lieberman's behind.
