To crust, I too think congress should impeach Gonzo. Why they haven't brought perjury charges against him is beyond me. He's been shown to have lied to congress. His testimony was contradicted by others. Yet no perjury charges. If they won't bring perjury charges, I doubt they will attempt to impeach him. Even if they did, he'll never resign the office. He'll have to be dragged out kicking and screaming. He knows where all the bodies are buried and Bush can't allow anyone that might operate independently in charge of the Justice dept. Since Bush has his back, Gonzo isn't going anywhere. What's disgusting is after Bush leaves office, the whole lot of the criminals will live the rest of their lives on taxpayer paid pensions. We will be paying for them until the day they die, which can't come soon enough.

What's amazing about the whole memo-gate thing was that they were never proved to be fake. But what the right-wing does best is change the subject. So instead of people asking did Bush complete his national gaurd duty or not? The clear evidence shows he didn't, as documented by the Boston Globe at the time. They got everyone to debate whether the memo was real or fake. So mission accomplished, the story was no longer Bush's failure to complete gaurd duty, but Rather uses fake memo's in news story. I hope Rather wins his lawsuit and gets every penny he deserves. CBS hanged him out to dry, in order to win favor with the Bush White House. CBS deserves what they get.

Yes the media is practically naming Hillary the nominee already, why bother with the primaries? Chris Matthews was being obnoxious last night about it on Hardball. Saying it's beyond doubt now. I remember when Howard Dean was ahead in the polls, the media did the same thing. Saying it's all over, he'll be the nominee. How'd that work out? That's why I don't pay attention to any of this crap before the primaries start. It''s a complete waste of time.

As for the poster who said we will all be voting for Hillary if she's the nominee. I certainly won't. I live in CO, which will certainly not vote for Hillary. Since my electoral votes will be going to the repug nominee, I'll be voting 3rd party. Hillary will be a terrible president, she's nothing but a DINO. The best candidate is John Edwards because he is the most electable. He is a true populist. Hillary is just more of the status quo. Let the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer.
