The late suspect Bruce Ivins; the lying ABC News
[Read the article: Vital unresolved anthrax questions and ABC News]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Assuming that the late suspect Bruce Ivins was guilty of the anthrax poisonings, he could very well have been pulling a "false flag" operation on the U.S. Government's--or Israel's--behalf.
ABC News--like so much of the MSM--is Goddamn worthless. Brian Ross and the late Peter Jennings put out false, fearmongering stories
about Iraq's alleged involvement in the anthrax poisonings.
Will ABC News come clean? Not likely.

The anthrax case has "false flag" written all over it
[Read the article: Journalists, their lying sources, and the anthrax investigation]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The 2001 anthrax poisonings case has "false flag" written all over it. The warmongers in the U.S. and Israeli governments had every reason to decide on something as drastic--and dramatic--as this to whip up hysteria against Iraq.
Regarding the late "suspect" Bruce Ivins: What role (if any) did he play in all this? The MSM? They should reveal who lied to 'em, and why they ran with the lies.

The late suspect Bruce Ivins; the FBI
[Read the article: The FBI's emerging, leaking case against Ivins]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The "evidence" released thus far by the FBI has its shoddy, dubious aspects, and Greenwald is right to point out these out. And, of course, since Ivins is kaput, we'll never hear what defense he could have made in a court of law.
I incline to the view that the anthrax case was a "false flag" job pulled by (who else?) warmongering Zionist elements in the U.S. or Israeli governments to get the American people even more hot and bothered against those evil Iraqis.
About the FBI: Do you remember the show "The FBI" (ABC-TV, 1965-74)? It starred Efrem Zimbalist, Jr. as Inspector Lewis Erskine, a brisk, efficient G-man who, at the end of the hour, always got his man. This was the 1960s, when the FBI was revered by most Americans (including my family--we sat in front of the TV every Sunday night to watch it).
Well, that was the J. Edgar Hoover-pushed legend. From what we know today, decades later, the FBI's halo has been badly tarnished.
-
Is the FBI's "evidence" just a bunch of crap?
[Read the article: What's the answer to this?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The FBI's "evidence" against Ivins is essentially speculation and conjecture. There's no hard evidence, no "eyeball witness" stuff. No, the Bureau's saying, in effect, "We think Ivins did this"; "It's likely Ivins did that"; "Ivins probably did the other thing" etc.
I incline to the view that the anthrax case was a "false flag" job designed to whip up more hatred against those evil Iraqis. If so, the guilty parties are still at large. Remember, too, that American citizens died.
Inspector Lewis Erskine of "The FBI," call your office!

Is Morton Halperin an opportunistic sonofabitch?
[Read the article: Salon Radio: Morton Halperin]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Sure looks like it, doesn't it? He made a 180-degree turn from opposing the FISA crap, to supporting it. Halperin's civil liberties "principles" are easily discarded.
No doubt he wants to hang in solid with Saint Barack of Obama.
-
The FBI's "case" against Ivins is probably crap
[Read the article: Doubts over the anthrax case intensify -- except among much of the media]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The FBI's "case" against Ivins is probably crap. Every time their "evidence" is questioned or contradicted, they trot out something else. ("You don't believe that, huh?
Well, do you believe this?")
The MSM is living up to its worthless nature. It uncritically spews government propaganda.
Because Ivins is dead, we'll never hear the defense he would have made in a court of law. The next best thing, of course, is for the FBI's "evidence"--ALL of it--to be subjected to harsh scrutiny in the court of public opinion.

Piss on Condoleezza Rice, piss on Joe Biden. . . .
[Read the article: Rice: Military power is "not the way to deal in the 21st century"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Piss on both Rice and Biden.
Rice is an intellectual and moral cipher, just like her boss the Liar-in-Chief. She's an ass-sucking sycophant. Like Colin Powell, Rice participated in the lies that got this country into war.
Biden? He's just another career political hack.

Ass-suckers Michael Abramowitz and Tim Russert; the worthless MSM
[Read the article: Journalists and their good friends in the White House]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Washington Post reporter Michael Abramowitz certainly enjoys the White House beat, doesn't he? Plenty of good fellowship, fun and frolic. Abramowitz does admit that officials like Joel Kaplan and Jim Jeffrey aren't especially forthright or revealing, but hey, they're just being "discreet." That's right, Mr. Abramowitz, they're being discreet in order to spin dunces like you. (Say, that gives me an idea. Why don't you go to your buddy Kaplan tomorrow and ask him why his boss lied the country into war. Tell us what his answer is.)
Lewis Lapham's article in Harper's--"Elegy for a Rubber Stamp"--is just what MSM types like Tim Russert deserve. Russert was in solid with the D.C. Establishment, a guy who munched hors d'oeuvres and sipped cocktails with the movers and shakers at Georgetown cocktail parties. And he wouldn't do anything to harm his status--like telling the truth about 'em.
The late David Halberstam had it right: The more famous you are, the less of a journalist you are. That's because you've sold out to the Establishment.

My compliments to Maddow and MSNBC; piss on The New Republic
[Read the article: The decay of serious journalism and Rachel Maddow's new show]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]My compliments to Rachel Maddow and MSNBC. I hope her show goes well. (A bit of advice: Slam the Chickenhawk-in-Chief and the neocon scum whenever you can.)
Piss on The New Republic. (Say, when the hell are their chickenhawks going to enlist?)

Mad Bomber McInsane has nothing in common with Joe Sixpack!
[Read the article: The right and men who live off their second wives' inherited wealth]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Mad Bomber McInsane's a tad confused as to how many homes he owns (seven). I realize that a man hankers to put down roots somewhere, but this !. . .
McInsane threw his first wife over the side after she got busted up in an accident. This enabled to him to take up with a wealthy, much younger piece of ass. McInsane got elected to Congress and, between that and his wife's dough, he's never had to worry about where his next belt of Cutty Sark is coming from.
Joe Sixpack lives in Peoria, where he works he second shift on a warehouse loading dock. His wife lost her job. They're both worried about losing their home. Mr. Sixpack, I'll bet you have a lot of rapport with McInsane!

"Zionist Joe" Biden; the worthless MSM
[Read the article: Joe Biden and the political establishment's overriding goal]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Saint Barack of Obama has anointed "Zionist Joe" Biden to be his running mate. I'm underwhelmed.
Biden's the quintessential D.C. Beltway hack. He's been in Congress 35 (!) years (Mad Bomber McInsane's only been in 26 years) He's as morally and ethically compromised as anyone in that bought-and-paid-for body of reprobates. He's for war, then he's against war; he's for civil liberties, then's he's against civil liberties. However, Biden's support is unwavering for the boys in Tel Aviv. He'll put their interests ahead of America's.
David Ignatius, David Brooks et al. are worthless MSM hacks.
