Spending Spree?

How about paying the exorbitant taxes with it? I live in Michigan on a pension, and owe the state $500!

Yes We Can Parody

You can't deny that McCain said it!

The C word

At least she's not talking about war. She has mellowed over the years. When I saw her in 1972, she was advocating for us to root for the North Vietnamese and the Viet Cong!

Chick Flick?

Women don't have to tell their husbands who they are voting for. He doesn't have to know. What a crappy article!

The Patriot Act

I'm disgusted with both sides! Abolish the Patriot Act, I say. Why make legal what has been done illegally for decades? It doesn't make us safer. I'm convinced "people of interest" have always been spied upon. Martin Luther King, John Lennon, etc. It's a subjective thing. I have contempt for Congress for even putting on the books, let alone extending this crap!

Protecting the Patriot Act

There has been a gap in "intelligence" in the White House for years. The public has been spied upon illegally for decades. Why protect the telecommunication companies from liablity? Nothing ever happens to them anyway. Terror is what made Congress make it a law in the first place. Osama is still out there, making videos at will. FISA makes us safer? After yesterday's shooting, we are in more danger from the home-grown nuts on campus, then any foreign threat. What Congress should be looking at is the mental health system. My suggestion: The NRA should contribute to the mental health system. 9/11 is a tragic gigantic tragedy, but if my child can't study without worrying about some nut, off his meds with a death wish, we are missing the real tragedy.

Hot is so Subjective

Why don't we just ask Paris Hilton? Stupid idea, I feel.

Sad and Lame

It reminds me of the Up with People group of the past. Corny. Uninspiring drivel. Nice T shirts, however.

Why doesn't South just separate from the rest of the country

The people who think that speaking your mind should be punish by stopping US funds, or setting up a blockade around Berkely, are channeling the forefathers of the antebellum days. Scary stuff! We know what happened in the 1860's. Not good. Wouldn't want to repeat that kind of history!

Voting Snafu

They must be practicing for the November election, so Harlem votes won't be counted!

Bill O'reilly

Wasn't Bill O'Reilly accused of sexual harassment? I'm sure he calls women cunts and worse.

Kids should be at school

By the time The Today show is on, kids should be eating their Cheerios and on their way to school. Bill O'Reilly is a C word in the most profane way it can be used. He is every profane use of every letter in the alphabet. Children should not be allowed to watch his show. He is the D word, for sure. Or if I may be nasty; a tool.

McCain

Well, there is always something nasty to bring up during election times. Now Mrs Obama said she is finally proud of this country, and is getting blasted by the bloggers. Admit it, this country hasn't been the shining star it's been hyped to be! NAFTA, Hurricane Katrina, lying cabinets, etc. So why not some juicy old fashioned smearing? Politics as usual. McCain ought to be proud that someone thinks he's naughty enough to do the nasty!

One Great Thing

Now New York will have it's first Black governor, and he's blind! A twofer!

Original article: Bomb, bomb Iran?

McCain

He is already continuing the same idiotic rhetoric that the Bush administration started after 9/11. How many wars are our boys and girls of this country supposed to fight? Is Condoleeza Rice trying to foster any allies like Colin Powell tried to do, before Dick Cheney and his cronies cut him out of the loop? Heaven help us all. We are heading for Armegeddon.

Bittergate

I think that people are looking for a reason, any reason to discredit Obama. He's an elitist. He's a secret Muslim. He is anti-American because he belongs to a church which at one time was headed by Christian Reverend Wright. He is young. He is a visionary. All of it is politics at its lowest. The Democratic Party needs to wake up. Meanwhile, McCain is getting more and more support from the same conservative Republicans who a few months ago wanted him boycotted at the election. If we don't watch it, McCain will get the same kind of vote Nixon got in 1968. Earlier this year, I had no problem with Hillary. Now, it will be very difficult for me to vote for her in November. I wonder if she has Karl Rove on her team, now that Geraldine Ferraro has left Hillary's camp.

MOVE ON!

What stumble? John McCain's irritations are described as his famous temper. I think we are all tired of the same questions that the media is posing to Obama and Hillary. If I was to be constantly judge about the people I associated with in the 60's and 70's I would be angry too. Can we move on? Tough questions about the economy or the high unemployment or dare we say, THE WAR are what ABC should have been concerned about.

Original article: The "bitter" vote

I'm Mad as hell...

I think Obama captured the majority of America's feelings. Why is that elitist? Hillary and the people who want to slander Obama at any cost are out of touch with the American people.

Original article: Playing the bin Laden card?

Bin Laden

Well we haven't heard his name in quite some time. Scared much, Hillary?

Race Card

The Clintons lost my vote when they dismissed Martin Luther King as only a visionary on January 14th. That was the first hard race card played. Now it seems she doesn't want the Black vote. She aiming for the old guard white bigot vote. She has lost most of the celebrities, the youth, the East and West Coast. Bill had them in his pocket. So what that he lives in Harlem? He lives with body guards, I assume. Hillary may not have the Black vote if she tries to run for the Senate again. The Clinton's true colors are showing, and I don't like it!
