Gonzales resignation
[Read the article: The Democrats' responsibility in the wake of Gonzales' resignation]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]My question is: Why now? Does someone have something even more damaging on Gonzales? Otherwise, it really doesn't make sense after stonewalling for so long. Why now???

Krugman op-ed
[Read the article: Paul Krugman criticizes Obama supporters]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Krugman is right. This is devolving into a cult of personality. We need a candidate who can actually deliver. Whichever one wins, the Democrats need to be able to coalesce behind that person.

MSNBC and wome
[Read the article: The Shuster fallout]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I have been increasingly appalled by the on-air tone of real woman-hatred by many MSNBC hosts--Howard Stern, Don Imus, Chris Matthews, and now David Shuster. I actually don't think Shuster is the worst by any means, but he is the veritable "straw that broke the camel's back". For ANYONE (i.e., Barbara Walters) to condone what he said, or for that matter to defend MSNBC's very poor record on this matter, is absurd. Moreover, it is incumbent on MSNBC to upgrade its tone and political coverage.

Obama and race
[Read the article: Is Obama playing the race card?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Race is a very difficult issue in this country. It is very important that all candidates both address the issue and not infame it. I do think that the Obama supporters have greatly inflamed the issue. Moreover, no one has really picked up on the blatant anti-female bias in the press, especially in some quarters. mpm922

can Hillary take the heat
[Read the article: Can the Clinton campaign take the heat?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]How ironic indeed! Who has taken more heat over the last 15 years??! Whenever Obama gets cornered, he goes negative, yet the media do not call him on it. Moreover, in this campaign the "objective" media have been anything but objective. The Saturday Night Live resonated because there is a great deal of truth in the sketch.

Possible bias at SNL
[Read the article: Michaels denies "SNL" is pro-Clinton]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I don't think it is clinton bias to point out that much of the media have a pro-Obama bias--I think it is speaking the truth. Obama supporters do not want to face up to this.

revote in Michigan and Florida
[Read the article: Michigan revote "dead"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]So, what is Sen. Obama so afraid of??? Every one should have his/her vote counted, and Democrats cannot win without Florida and Michigan. Sen. Obama took his name off the ballot in Michigan--his choice. Why not split the cost of a re-do with Sen. Clinton. They have both been raising amazing amounts of money, and could afford to pay for the redo. If the votes of Michigan and Florida Democrats are not counted in the process, I think Democrats will pay for that in November!
