Crazy Baldheads

Ol' Bob Marley (peace & blessings upon him) had it right when addressing these reprehensible reptiles: drive 'em out. And let's drain the swamp known as DC while we're at it. I find myself humming this song whenever one of these 'Uhmerican' bozos pops up . . .

"Them crazy, them crazy -

We gonna chase those crazy

Baldheads out of town;

Chase those crazy baldheads

Out of our town.

I & I build a cabin;

I & I plant the corn;

Didn't my people before me

Slave for this country?

Now you look me with that scorn,

Then you eat up all my corn.

We gonna chase those crazy -

Chase them crazy -

Chase those crazy baldheads out of town!

---

/Scat singing/

---

Build your penitentiary, we build your schools,

Brainwash education to make us the fools.

Hate is your reward for our love,

Telling us of your God above.

We gonna chase those crazy -

Chase those crazy bunkheads -

Chase those crazy baldheads out of the town!

---

/Instrumental break/

---

We gonna chase those crazy -

Chase those crazy bunkheads -

Chase those crazy baldheads out of the town!

Here comes the conman

Coming with his con plan.

We won't take no bribe;

We've got [to] stay alive.

We gonna chase those crazy -

Chase those crazy baldheads -

Chase those crazy baldheads out of the town."

@America was not designed to be the world's policeman

Holly McLachlan writes: ”Despite the past 3 decades of rhetoric to the contrary, we really don't exist to be your bitches. I realize that our behavior vis-a-vis Israel and Cuba has muddied the water in that regard, but the time for us to stop being everything to everyone is long past." SNIP "The only regional conflict in south central Asia where we have some national interest is in Afghanistan. And there, only until we either make it inhospitable to anti-U.S. terrorists, or determine that the trade-off in American lives and fortune isn't worth the effort."

Our national interests?? That's the point that sticks in the craw of the 95% or so percent of people who aren't Americans, or as some folks would put it, the Un-Americans. You see, what it comes down to is, it's always about America. But it is a kind of Bizarro-world America. The Exceptional America, as many people would have it. Where international treaties have no meaning unless they cover America's butt. Where America can project it's military might on others merely on the say so of the government's whim. And this is done under the auspices of "exportin' / defendin' democracy" or "fightin' fer freedom". What democracy? Whose freedom? This Bizarro-America can turn a blind eye on the agression of it's own allies, and spin the truth (whereas Mr. Greenwald writes today). Where people can say (showing their utter contempt of Un-Americans), "We're fightin' them there so as we don't hafta fight them here in our homeland". I'm sorry, I don't see the way out of this trap. Both parties have shown that they are more than willing to toe the current disasterous policy, to tug their forelocks and continue to be Israel's 'bitch', to continue to pour wealth into the maw of the military, and to continue their contemptible wars, whether they be the 'good' war in Afghanistan (to "make it inhospitable to anti-U.S. terrorists", aka "we had to destroy them to save them": different 'war', same premise), or trying to fix an Iraq that they broke and can't put back together again. No, "America was not designed to be the world's policeman", and worse still, America has no right to be the world's policeman . . .

So what you are saying is . . . and other 'Hackneyed' Phrases

New boy/girl on the block (where do they come from -- RNC rent-a-hack??) Hackney definitely has a hair up the butt over this Georgia / Russia shakedown, and has joined this board under his/her current handle to pursue this particular bee in that particular bonnet. Hackney uses sneering contempt: "you are just one example of the many cretins who have taken up an anti-Georgian cause based on ignorance and distorted facts that stems purely from a ridiculous and inexplicable repugnance to what you see as hypocritical right-wing support for Georgia."

The is followed by another line of adolescent attack so favoured by High School debaters: "So let me understand this correctly . . . ", followed by a string of 'ifs' and 'whens'. Either way, your attempts come across not so much as weak, but as thin gruel. "Piffle.

Be Careful WithThat Axe, Eugene, er Hackney

Hackney, you've lost it, son. Take five. Relax. You see, when you set yourself up, as you have, as a bastion of reason and wit in the defence of, well, whatever, and then the heat starts to go up, and you're reduced to showing your anger and frustrated by emulating a tough guy, "fuck this & fuck that and fuck the sheep you cretins rode in on", you would be best to take five. Maybe catch up on your homework?

Crime Of The Century

"Part of the reason that this country is fast becoming a Fascist shithole is because of the gargantuan amount of money being spent on the military." Actually, the main reason the country has become a shithole (besides the fact a large number of its inhabitants are shitheads)is that the country is incredibly militarized. Sheesh. Flags, guns, parades, support the troops (Christ, the have recruiters in High Schools for gawd's sakes), welcome-back heroes/warior parades, fly-bys at sports events (WTF is with that???). Then you have all these shaved-headed goateed guys in chinos / camos and polo shirts (and their space-trash spouses) bleating like recently castrated sheep when you talk about taxes. You have 'em howling like baboons when Papa McCain or Tin-Pot Palin mention "Socialism" (I doubt any of these howlers have any idea of what 'socialism' is except for what they wuz told and that it's real bad). But try and tell them that the military/industrial/media triad is the scam of this and the last century, and you'll hear nothing but the crickets chirping . . .

science is for pussies.
