Where do you guys come from?
"I guess that when you are an armchair warrior, doing your best in the blogosphere to undermine the war effort as much as possible, even bashing on Bush and Cheney from your laptop in the comfort of your living room must get old after awhile."
War?? What war???? Your dirty stinking little war is an occupation gone bad. There is no war -- there was a huge military blowing the bejaysus out of a weak third world nation -- not called a war by any stretch of the imagination.
Sixty years ago, and under a different set of circumstances, when the rule of law meant something, things might be looking a little different:
A quaint town in Germany called Nuremberg where the victors of the Second World War gathered in judgement of the ultimate crimes -- "Crimes against peace:
Planning, preparation, initiation or waging of a war of aggression or a war in violation of international treaties, agreements or assurances;
Participation in a common plan or conspiracy for the accomplishment of any of the acts mentioned under."
Imagine, if you may, Bush, Blair, Powell, Rumsfeld and a host of 'Good Americans' and "Good Members Of The Coalition Of The Willing" sitting in the dock under the shade of the gallows where the 'Good Germans' sat.
BTW -- I checked out your blog. Shouldn't you be hanging around Townhall rather than here? Loved your picture:

It reminded me of another picture I'd seen before . . .

These guys have been crooks since day one. Before day one. Way, way before day one. As if we didn't know what kind of vermin they were. Yet not only were they able to take control of the RNC, but then they took the entire country as well, and we sat dumbly watching it happen. And we still sit dumbly and watch as they loot everything they can get their hands on. And still a third of us approve of, aye, even admire these folks. Fore Vidal calls it the United States of Amnesia (a nation of ADS suffers), I call it the United States of Apathy. We deserve them . . .
no wonder they all have those sh!t-eating smirks on their faces.
Whereas, you aren't. A troll is a troll is a troll . . .
"This writer Blumenthal never fails to amuse; 20 minutes of drama, and then "Tune in next week to see how the bad guys can be even more bad!!!" Right out of a 50's radio whodunit."
Well, at least you appear to have read his article and can actually spell his name right!! Still a troll, though.
"This guy is certainly not much of a journalist - if the word " if " did not exist he would not have any basis for making any of his charges."
Not a journalist, Toadie, he's writing an opinion piece.
"Keep on going, Democrats, the election is coming."
Yep. That's why these guys (and youse guys) are so desperately fighting ba scorched earth policy.
"Hate politics and the Big Lie work for a while, but sooner or later you are going to have to do something."
'Hate politics'???? Do you guys download these silly cliches, or is it something desperate losers just naturally think up??
Jaysus Lawd, Toadie . . . . I can almost see the perspiration dripping off you.
BTW . . . where do you freaks come from?? What sustains you? I cringe when I see you silly mofos on the street. Pre-cornered rats, so to speak.
Drum roll time . . .
Here comes the punchline, the nom-de-plume!!
"Historybuff1"
Historybuff???????? You have the audacity to call yourself Historybuff1???? Lawd, love a duck.
And yet, 30% of America still follows this Crowd.
Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.
100,000,000 million knuckleheads!!!
You know you've lost when you have to use heavy duty airpower to kept the bad guys under control. Seymour Hersh wrote an excellent article on this a couple of years back:

A different take on Israel's use of airpower in it's loss against Hezbollah last summer:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/07/24/AR2006072400807.html
And perhaps the most heart-felt take by Bruce Cockburn in his "If I Had A Rocket Launcher":
"Here comes the helicopter -- second time today
Everybody scatters and hopes it goes away
How many kids they've murdered only God can say
If I had a rocket launcher...I'd make somebody pay
I don't believe in guarded borders and I don't believe in hate
I don't believe in generals or their stinking torture states
And when I talk with the survivors of things too sickening to relate
If I had a rocket launcher...I would retaliate
On the Rio Lacantun, one hundred thousand wait
To fall down from starvation -- or some less humane fate
Cry for Guatemala, with a corpse in every gate
If I had a rocket launcher...I would not hesitate
I want to raise every voice -- at least I've got to try
Every time I think about it water rises to my eyes.
Situation desperate, echoes of the victims cry
If I had a rocket launcher...Some son of a bitch would die"
