Anonymoose Back On Board!!

nabalzbbfr (don't even ask -- the guy is using the top-secret-masonic-'13'-code), the anonymity formerly known as 'anonymoose' (actually cut & paste): "Nov 4 Armegeddon? It's not hard to foresee what the disastrous consequences of an Obama victory would be.

Israel would face a stark existential dilemma, seeing the genocidal Ahmedinajad about to get a powerful new ally taking office in Washington. There is no doubt that Israel would be forced to do whatever it takes to avert such a grave national threat. They would have no choice but to take out Iran's nuclear facilities. And since they would only have one chance to get it right, they would have to strike hard - very hard. Indeed the only sure way to achieve that goal would be via a massive nuclear strike on Iranian military infrastructure.

Wall Street and financial markets throughout the world would also suddenly realize the implications of the impending coming to power of an avowedly socialist regime in the US. The ensuing collapse of the markets would make 1929 look like a small bagatelle. Savings and investments would be totally wiped out throughout the world and unemployment would sour into triple digits. Riots would break out everywhere as starving people looted stores for the last vestiges of food and water. President Bush would have no choice but to declare martial law and indefinitely suspend the Constitution.

This should give even the most rabid liberals pause."

In other words, niggers and towelheads are bad guys and they want to steal our loot, so vote for the same old / same old.

I Really Have A Sick Feeling In The Pit Of My Stomach

All very disturbing. You have a woman running for the VP position who is sypposedly a blue-nose, who would burn books and would deny others the right to contraception or abortion, yet she can't persuade her 17 year old daughter to keep her legs together and failing that, to find a partner smart enough to roll on a rubber. We have a government fighting an imaginary war on other cultures. You have the same government inflicting its 'morality' on alternate, less mainstream lifestyles. A government that demands respect and obedience from other nations, yet offers itself like a bitch in heat to Israel. This is all very disturbing. Then there is this torture being done in the name of . . . . ?? C'mon shooter, elephantguy, low-orbitboy . . . in the name of what?? Defendin' democracy? Fightin' fer our freedom? And where do they find the freaks who would do this kind stuff to other human beings?? Are they outsourced? Are they from the private sector? No. These are the folks from next door. Our heroes in uniform. America's best. Oh well, as Rummy used to say, freedom is messy. Stuff happens.

When A Snark Isn't A Snark

AKA Smith sniffs (a little too silly to be a snark, as he claims it is in a later post): "I am more discriminating than that. There are different types of porn.

I have a short story where the older female character seduces a young fella like you.

You are about 18, aren't you?"

Ah, the old "I-am-the-adult-in-the-room" gambit.

I think our friend Canuckistan Bob puts it into proper perspective: "I've been trying to follow this, and I confess, I don't have a clue what point you are trying to get across, if any."

SNIP

"And I know you aren't particularly interested, or haven't been in the past, in much to do with Bush human rights violations and torture. Though that was more in the direction that most of the reasonable posters, and Glenn himself, seemed to be going."

Now THAT'S a snark . . .

Don't Knock Yourself Out, Kid

AKA Smith explains the confusion: "Really? Silly me. I didn't get it. I thought he really wanted to know what I think and feel. I'm kind of slow sometimes, I guess."

Thanks for the heads up.

Trek?

I think Sarah's boy is there (the Occupation Forces In Eye-Wrack) because he's another loose cannon -- cue in the Louis Jordan lyrics here. This is tough love. The army will make a man outta him, stop him drinkin' and slashin' tires and stuff, uh-huh -- they have enuff problems with his sister playing hide the weinie with the boys in town, and daddy's hidin' from the guys that gives out them subopeanias, Sarah's homies in the office are foldin', the blessin' Reverend gave Sarah against the witches is wearin' off, and ol' John still hasn't learnt how to zig instead of zag . . .

You Still There, Gal?

Sandy Yago asks the burning question of the day (well, in her attempt to deflect from the conversation): The much more important question is this: "Why did a university hire Ayers? And another Dohrn? How is it possible that known and unrepentant terrorists (that's right, not 'former terrorists', would you call a murderer a 'former murderer' just because the last time he murdered was 20 years ago?) got hired by institutes of higher education in America?"

You go, girl!! Speaking of unrepentant terrorists / mass murderers / war criminals, for 10 points name this person:

"In 1957 he became a lecturer (public speaker) at Harvard. He was promoted to professor in 1962. He received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest award given to a civilian in 1977. He also received the Medal of Liberty, an award that was given only once, in 1986, to ten foreign-born American leaders. In 2001 he was named chancellor (president) of the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia . . . "

He Doesn't Get Around Much Anymore

. . . and you guys haven't figured it out? Then, I guess I'd better let you have the answer. Ol' Henry K. hisself. Bet you he doesn't travel abroad much these days, not with peed off Europeans clutching arrest warrants . . .
