Freedom Is Just Another Word . . .

. . . . for people who are seriously afraid of . . .

everything. Sigh.

The little man with the big name (elephantman --BTW -- was a real human unlike the insect who uses him as his handle) writes, snortling: "Hey Glenn I didn't have time yesterday to share this with you. Have you read it?

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB121737320982594975.html"

Elephant-dude: I see your point. Take a free man (can you dig that concept??) out of his own country, torture him, subject him to humiliation from some dum-phawk cracker ("Sir, yes sir") who whoreships the kristian bible, steal five years of his life, then send him back home without even an apology, and you expect him to love 'Murica? Respect it?

Seriously, I think even a keyboard warrior (can I chortle here??) such as yourself (didn't I see you at the airport with your little goatee, polo shirt tucked into your chinos -- hiding a H20melon in there?? --, silly war-guy sunglasses, chatting away with your Lt. Uhuru earpiece on??) would have a few complaints even if you were only doing just 53 in the 50 mph zone. Elephant-guy. They hate us because of our freedoms . . . . though people like you and other folks would take them away. We don't hate you, we pity you. Though that's getting a little thin. Hope you're not the last guy hanging onto your laptop in one hand, the other grasping the landing gear of the last helicopter outta Gatesville . . .

Kind Of Makes You Proud . . .

. . . . not to be a Patriotic 'Murican. Jaysus, but it all sinks into the mire.

Guns?? What the phawk is it with 'Muricans & guns?

You really want to whack someone, you don't need a gun. Cowards, yes. Someone pulls a gun on me, they better be very quick. I won't hesitate to put that loathsome little piece of metal into / and up your anal canal. The 'equilizer' . . . not. Stupid people are slow, that's why they buy guns.

And the military . . . I'd rather my offspring have some dignity and style and be a clean-up person at the Golden Arches than some "Sir, yes Sir" PUBLICALLY-funded gunsel or mollie 'defendin' DeeemoKracry" or "Fightin' Fer Our Freeeedumbs'.

Go anywhere, anywhere on this planet & the military are known for what they are . . .

And my rant is done. Yep. I despise guns only less so than the people that carry them. And the military???

Crickets Chirp

But here, where I'm at, we have the cicadas at full volume. Sleep right throught the wake-up call . . .

Dog Days Of Summer, as explained by Wiki:

"The phrase Dog Days or "the dog days of summer", refers to the hottest, most sultry days of summer. They are a phenomenon of the northern hemisphere that usually falls between early July and early September but the actual dates vary greatly from region to region, depending on latitude and climate. Dog Days can also define a time period or event that is very hot or stagnant, or marked by dull lack of progress."

Dull. Lack of progress. Stagnant.

Sheesh, time to move to the southern hemisphere, already.

Ground Zero??

seanmcbride writes: "we know of a small group of zealots at the top of the Bush 43 administration who would be evil enough to cause death and injury to many thousands Americans, and enormous suffering to their families, on the basis of tricks, lies and deception?"

Dude!! A few thousand 'Muricans!!! Yikes, makes a million or so wasted towelheads sound like squid-bait. 'Course, they wuzzn't 'Muricans, huh. Let's roll!!

"Yes -- the PNAC crowd that used 9/11 (the New Pearl Harbor) and the 9/11 anthrax attacks to drive the United States into the Iraq War. They are capable of anything. They have also had the power to control the investigation into the 9/11 anthrax attacks."

Few people care, and most folks are just too phawking stupid (sorry, wrong word -- the phrase is 'willingly ignorant') to even try to understand. Who cares, dude. Bread. Circuses.

With A Picture of Annie Coulter Close 'At Hand'

gs_chandy queries: "But Elephanturds has not yet dropped by! I see the living room so far entirely free of Elephanturds!

-- Where on earth or in the nether world is he?

-- How come we don't see him yet, mucking up the landscape?"

SNIP

Not to worry. These knuckleheads / knuckle-draggers, like all other lower life forms, these guys travel in packs. No Elephant-guy? Sheesh, takes but a minute to find your anonymice, your shooters, your other emotionally-challenged keyboard heroes to jump into the fray. These folks live on your despair. In this case, in pops -- LowOrbitGuy!!

LowOrbitGuy, one hand on the keyboard, the other groping around inside his stained chinos (while eye-balling his Michelle Malkin poster)types: "Another conspiracy theory, with nothing going for it other than it plays to the bush hating choir.

SNIP

"An ambitious Iraqi politician, forges a document and exagerates (sic) a claim. Just like Chalabi did.

(...just like the no-nukes crowd did when they shut down our nuclear power industry)

SNIP

"And joe calls that "evidence" that the CIA was involved. Break out the tin hats" (), "call Art Bell, and schedule an interview."

Move over Jon Stewart, we have a new wag on the block. Err, a new blockhead on the wag. Whatever. So despair not, s_chandy, elephantduy may not be on call, he is amply represented . . .
