Just A Couple Of Things

[Read more letters about this article: Here]#1 -- Why is it that if you arm a maniac, a cold blooded killer, an adolescent with issues or some other disturbed individual with a firearm, they become known as a 'shooter'?? If you armed the same freak with a knife or a club or some other lethal weapon they become known as a 'crazed maniac'. Let's call a spade a spade -- seems to me that 'shooter' is a coded message that somehow gives legitimacy to a murderer toting a gun. But maybe that's just me.
#2 -- The term 'ignorant asshole' when applied to shooter242 is a wee bit inappropriate. Yes, he is an asshole, but he is not totally ignorant as we can plainly see. He is perfectly capable or receiving and passing on 'talking points' from Asshole Central. Like a good soldier, he is just doing his job, albeit poorly.

You betcha. The business of government is . . . . business. And this administration more so than most. And more blatant. And you know what, they really don't give a rough rodeo fuck what people think. The vast majority of the country is either apathetic, ignorant, or brainwashed. Then there are the sockpuppets such as yerself -- probably parrots is a better term. Sheesh, you see 'liberals' everywhere, just waiting to steal your hard earned dough. Yet you don't see the biggest crooks of all. Heck, you wouldn't know a liberal if he was playing hide the weinie your College Republican daughter.
The biggest pig at the trough?? The military. Sheesh,the world's biggest private security outfit -- bankrolled by the citizens of America. While 'defendin' democracy' and 'fightin' fer our freedoms' sounds great, that is not the case. The idea is to inflict America's, and by this I mean Corporate America's will on the world, to protect their vital interests (yep, it really is about the oil and the access to it -- but it's not for the folk of America, so to speak, but for the big corporations who will sell that oil to the highest payer, American or not). So here we are, paying for this huge behemoth that can't fight terrorism because terrorism is neither a state nor an army, but we're also paying for the parasites who are living on this behemoth. Pork, my friend, the transference of monies from the public to the private. HELLO? I t'ink, Mr. Anonymous, that is what DogFather is on about. So spare us your townhall.com wingnut indignant righteous parrotings -- "Awk!! Awk!! Liberal!! Awk!!"

Thanks M. Greenwald for bringing the food to the table and not demanding that we necessarily eat of it. You've exposed the media, but more, the idiots of America for what they are. They're all the same guy. You start out with Wolf Blitzerkreig -- the Aipac-hack -- who morphs into Allison (?!) Cooper, who melts down into Piggy Noonan (her 2008 motto -- "Reasonable Person for President" -- Ghenghis Khan don't fuck around, and you gotta dig that 'stache). Piggy lends her lighter to The Stick, who fires up her Carleton & gets into a slap down with Malicious Michelle. Hot Air, indeed. You better beware you miscreants, we need a Daddy (my heart belongs to . . . ) to put you into your place. Beware, Brother, Beware. I tell ya. Alphabet Soup. $400 haircuts, Magical undewear, Jaysus is coming back, Be Very Afraid, Who's on first, and I Don't give a heck . . .
and they don't hate us for our freedoms. They saw "American Idol" and just knew that we needed putting down.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]The states I've actually been to: Washington, Oregon, California, Montana, Arizona, Nevada, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, New York, Georgia. Figure that one out. Never been to all the rest, but I do have a brother-in-law from Austin, a very good fiend from New Mexico, and a woman I adore from North Dakota. Strange country, or wot???? Ooops, forgot Idaho. I've flown over the Pacific more times than an elderly guy takes a wee in the middle of the night, but somehow I've never landed in Hawaii. Singapore, Hong Kong, Colombo, Seoul, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, Cairns, Canberra, Sydney, yep. Actually, the only place in New York was Buffalo. Does that count??? BTW -- I've been apprehended by the law in only one state -- Wshington. Speeding, once. Appearing to be a suspicious guy -- at least five times. But you can't beat the market in Seattle. Pike's Place. Forget the Starbuck's stuff.
