Where do you get a million votes ahead? According to Real Clear Politics, he is 400,000 ahead if you include FL but not MI and all the caucus estimates.

The Spurs have already won their series against NO, if you count the free throws, and don't count the 3 pointers, and you count defensive fouls but not offensive fouls.

Obama is getting stronger........Yeah I can tell. Since he supposedly wrapped up the nomination he lost Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia by a combined 60 points and more than half a million votes. With another drubbing coming tomorrow in Kentucky.

    Scoreboard?

  • KStone can't post a scenario by which Clinton wins

Because there isn't any such scenario.

Now, the job falls to 400 politicians to decide who wins. Obama has 1.5 million campaign donors, last I heard, and can raise tens of millions in a short amount of time. Clinton is in debt, and couldn't raise an elevator.

Anyone who thinks career politicians are going to ignore that money is more than smoking crack. They're smoking PCP-laced crack. At this point, God Almighty could announce a press conference, come down from heaven, point at Hillary, say, "Pick HER!," and Clinton would still lose.

All the finer points about MI and FL, and caucus states and red states, and electability are just a bunch of red herrings. Follow the money, it will lead you to the winner.

Speaking of red herrings, Obama's camp is sure good at raising money...for Obama.

Do you have any idea how politics works? If Obama continues to raise the sort of money he is raising, he gets more Democrats out to vote for him, and more people likely to vote Democratic. He doesn't have to give them any of the money. A landslide for Obama means a landslide for them. It's really silly that I have to point this out to you, because you're smarter than you let on when you try and defend Clinton.

You might have dipped into your own stash already if you believe that all fund raising prowess is going to be spread around to the all of SDs who support him. For the most part, they'll get "walking around money" and maybe some photo ops but that's probably about it.

Spoken like a true amateur. Ask a superdelegate what they think about Obama's fundraising ability. Ask whether it will affect them positively, negatively, or neutrally, and they will nearly all answer positively. You're just way out on a limb here, and you think I'm the one smoking it?

Also, other than as a way for you to avoid my points, why do I need to come up with a Clinton win scenario?

I wasn't aware you made any points, I was responding to the one someone else made. If you'd like, I can certainly debunk whatever other Clinton HQ spin you'd like me to.

To answer your question here, you should provide a win scenario because it justifies Clinton staying in the race until the "bitter" end. She's certainly not trying to out-do anyone in the graceful exit department, and her supporters pretend there is some sort of fantasy town where she is going to win all of the remaining superdelegates.

If there were a possibility she could at least win the nomination, you could, with convoluted logic, justify her continued nasty, unstatesmanlike behavior. One gets the impression that she's realized she's getting too old and thinks it's her time.

Her supporters continue to deny, implicitly, and explicitly, that the race is over, and continue to use this phantom carrot they are chasing as an excuse for their candidate's divisive, demagogic behavior.

Especially when it's not likely that she will win but it contiunes to be strange that some of you Obama fans (maybe not you) seem to feel the need to pretend that your chosen candidate is or has dominated the race when in reality, he's just getting by at this point, and, as I said earlier, limping to the finish line. Oh well....

When a horse is predicted to run at the back of the pack, and ends up winning by a nose, it's called a "win." That's the technical term I think, if it were a horse race. Those races are usually called, "exciting," and the horse that wins is viewed with great honor.

It's not a horse race, though, it's a political battle, and Barack Obama is, and will be our nominee. Sorry, but for now, Clinton needs to put aside her ego, and go to the back of the bus, or learn to play nice with the other children.

This is the essential point Obama people, and apparently even Democrats in Clinton's own campaign are trying to make, and that apologists such as yourself to some extent, and more blatant trolls to a larger extent, never address.

But, bring on your mendacious half truths, and I will deal with them.

This is our essential point, and one that apologists such as yourself do not address.
