@AKA, a little off topic
[Read the article: Was Hillary channeling George Wallace?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I don't even believe in race. It is an absurd cultural construct. The thought that something so damned unscientific so dominates this campaign season makes me want to giggle -- or it would if it weren't so sad.
Are you an epistemology grad? I dated one for a long time, and she had the same ignorance about race that you display. There are plenty of genetic difference between races. The philosophy of science meme that there is no such thing as race scientifically is just flat out incorrect.
While it's true we do not understand the function of every little bit of our DNA yet, scientists do in fact find, every single day, correlations between our genetic makeup and our race. If you were to repeat your statement to a geneticist, they would have a hearty laugh at your expense.
What makes Irish people pale and redheaded, and African people dark and curly haired? Pixies? Nope, it's DNA. I'm always a little surprised when I have to explain this to educated people.
No doubt this is a political hot potato, fraught with landmines. We certainly don't want to use science and money, when we investigate this issue, merely to reinforce stereotypes and prejudice. On the other hand, more knowledge is almost never a bad thing. I just think we need to approach it ethically and cautiously.

My impression of a Clinton troll
[Read the article: More superdelegates for Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Last time I did this, Manos thought I was serious, so I'll break the fourth wall and let you know, this one time, that it's satire. I guess I'll also give a shout out to all the real Democratic Clinton supporters, and say, this isn't meant for you. (and, Hutman, thanks for the tips earlier).
The f***ing Obama supporters are so mother f***ing vulgar all the time, I guess that's what they mean by "change." Empty f***ing suit Barack HUSSEIN Obama will lose the general election. That's why I'm going to vote for McCain. Oh, oh, I mean unless Clinton wins, of course. Nothing anyone ever says about HUSSEIN Obama is racist, because his supporters are a bunch of n***ers.
Besides, all his supporters are sexist. Just last week, I saw a random person on the internet call somebody a c**t. I know for sure this person was a Barack HUSSEIN Obama supporter, because they said so. The race isn't over yet, most of the superdelegates are just waiting for an excuse to overturn the popular vote. Which they should, because Barack HUSSEIN Obama is outspending Clinton 55 million to 1, and politicians know that a huge base of donors and the most massive war chest in political history spells doom for both HUSSEIN Obama and all the downticket races too.
Plus, he's run such a nasty dirty campaign. I can't come up with any examples right now, but he's a race mongering baiting divisive empty suit that only knows how to win by raising a lot of money and getting more votes than the other candidate. California loves Arnold so much that there's no way that Barack HUSSEIN Obama could ever carry the state, but Hillary could because she won the primary. In fact, every Hillary voter is going to just stay home come election time, or vote for McCain, because obviously, McCain and Clinton are so similar to each other, but Barack HUSSEIN Obama is going to sell all of our infants to Hezbollah. That's because he is a Muslim, except for the 20 years that he spent in Rev. God Damn America Wright's church burning the flag and defiling the cross.
It doesn't matter, he'll never win because McCain will beat the crap out of him. What people want is another 100 years of war in Iraq, at least $60,000 worth of debt per person in the United States, no health care, and no house.

Thanks Dr. Kate!
[Read the article: More superdelegates for Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]One voter's weird is another's sane.
As always, KateTex the wise, arbiter of sanity and protector of the Democratic party, opposes the forces of ignorance and superstition with science and intellect.
