Original article: Are you a pussy?

This is just heatwrenching

I'm still crying as I write this. There is no portion of this story that is not upsetting. After 7 years of war and only the occasional glimpse of a casket, the real measure of this war can only be achieved through the stories surviving soldiers. These stories support the reality that our government cares nothing for its soldiers.

It seems so cruel that these men are not supported with their emotional struggle. Whose mind can remain unscarred by the brutalities of war? Who else can understand that but their fellow soldiers? Is it that acknowledging the damage means you can't ignore it anymore and never go back to your old life? Why are these men left unassisted in their despair?

A few years ago, my father lost his job and committed suicide. It was a terrible shock, he never asked for help or indicated he was in crisis. If he had been surrounded by professionals who should have seen the symptoms in him, and they neglected to give him proper care and support...Rage would not be a strong enough word to describe how I would feel. I would feel as though they murdered him.

Which is why these pictures are so heart scalding. Imagine trying to eradicate your child's last attempt to explain themselves to the world, wiping away the accusal of their murderer, painting over things too long ignored.

Someone knock their heads together already!!!

I love that Warren Buffet has just come out and stated that to not support this package and the attempts at this time to stabilize the economy, is unpatriotic. Republicans: the party of throwing out the baby with the bathwater. I just don't get it! What gain can be had by ANYONE if we sink into a Depression? Do they really think Americans will forget? Forget how this started and who caused it and who ensured that there was no escape? It's maddening!
