[Read more letters about this article: Here]The only way this issue regarding fabrication can be conclusively sorted out, is through the clear demostration of other letters or memos that Killian produced on the same "typewriter." This type of "meshing" as Blumenthal states or corroborating evidence is the key feature in either supporting or discrediting the central argument regarding document authenticity. If Killian produced similarly configured documents, then the case is closed, but if no such documents can be produced, then all the spurious theories about authenticity or forgery or planted documents will forever continue, and Rather's hope for long-last vindication will fail.
