Salon Comes Out Late for Hillary
[Read the article: Barack Obama in suspended animation]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Come on, guys! The two top stories on Salon today are both skewed, badly.
One says "Why Hillary should be winning" this one says, essentially "Barrack Obama can't win."
Both are based on a very skewed and opinionated view of the facts and do not clarify anything...
There is actual news to report, folks... like Mark Penn resigning... the fact that McCain is claiming that Iraq is "returning to normal."
There's news to report. You can, if you choose, be impartial and report the news.
Or you can continue to allow Salon to be used for Hillary Clinton's propaganda machine.
As a reader of multiple news feeds, I can tell you that Salon, today, is badly out of step with other news organizations.
Get a grip, or risk losing more readers like me.

Of Course, I Can't Complain or Have an Opinion
[Read the article: Hey, Obama boys: Back off already!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]As a white, Christian, man, I apparently get all the breaks in the world and so of course, I should not have an opinion on anything.
I can't for example, support Barrack Obama over Hillary Clinton for any other reason than "sexism."
Bah and humbug.
Truth is, we all got trouble. I grew up poor and wretched in the bowels of Alabama, and now am a successful writer. Is it really because I'm white and male? All of it?
No. In fact, all of us have a set of circumstances we were born with, and others that occur or that we encourage as we live our lives.
Hillary Clinton is not treated harshly by the press, and by many male Obama supporters because she is a woman.
She is treated harshly because she is a coldly calculating.... person. You know the word I'd like to use here, but won't. But she is one.
It's not just my imagination... and mine is not really as active as hers.
Hillary Clinton is a inept person, in so many ways. She is not trusted by a majority of Americans because she gives them reasons to not trust her. Not because she is a woman. But because she is a Play-Doh person.
When we say Hillary will say and do anything to be elected, it's not our imagination. It's fact. Backed up by the record.
When we say Hillary is devicive, it's not because she's a woman, it's because that's been her own mantra. She's a fighter. Fighters have to have opponents. Everyone is Hillary's opponent. By her own choosing.
Obama, in stark contrast, certainly has a misstep here and there, but by and large, has lived a life of sacrifice that inspires millions.
Not because he is male. But because he is who he says he is. Hillary, in contrast, will be anyone you want her to be. The one person she can't be, however, is president. Because we don't elect chameleons.

Some People are Dumb, Some are Willfully Ignorant
[Read the article: Attention, pundits. It ain't over]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I'm not really sure about this article... is is written by someone who is stupid and has nothing to say... or is it written by someone who is willfully, actively, ignorant.
No matter. It's dumb. And you are, if you believe the drek that somehow, this bloody mess that is the Hillary Clinton war machine (otherwise referred to as a "campaign") has been good for anybody but Hill, Bill, and the leeches on all side who lap up the cash that her war machine bleeds...
Idiots who believe this is "good" and shows how well "democracy" works, probably believe the current president that the war in Iraq is "worth it" because they now have "democracy"
Fact is, this mess is a mess. It's not "good" for anything.
Next time someone aims at your loved ones with a hammer or worse, try protecting them with a kind word about "democracy" or "getting along"
If you get robbed, try smiling and think to yourself how your goods and cash are helping to "even things out."
Next time your doctor tells you to make a change in your diet or die, don't make the change. Assume that "everything will work out okay."
Go ahead, make willful ignorance work for you.
Also, try making up your own traffic laws. It's a free country. Drive on whatever side of the road you want. Go on red.
It's all good. It's all fine. Everything is everything. Kum-de-blankedy-blank-bay-ya.
Smoke that, Salon.

Thanks AJ, and Here's to Good Coming of this
[Read the article: Attention, pundits. It ain't over]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Yes.... this might "work out" after all. Stranger things have happened.
I'm a Christian but last night, celebrated Passover with my wife's family, who are Jewish. One of the themes of the night, for those unfamiliar with Passover, is a reverent re-enactment of the sacrifices made by the Jewish people, and how God has honored those sacrifices, and deserves honor... So, yes... let's hope, and yes, pray, that all this... mess, will, somehow "work out right."
That attitude worked a few thousand years ago. It worked in Palestine in 1945. And by God, it should work for all of us now.
Here's to this working out right, which means getting a Dem candidate, through trial by fire, ready to win in November.
So thanks, AJ, and all you who are working to see the bright side of this "exersize," and may God help us all.
