  • Meh

[Read the article: Networks say Clinton will win Pennsylvania]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Ah.... blankety blank blank blank... more slow attrition of joy... more slowly lowering of expectations... more depression, more division, more derision, more millions spent fighting each other instead of fighting John McCain..

    More.... "democracy"...

    Meh. Double Meh.

Honestly, here's the deal. Anyone in their right mind will admit that even after tonight's showing in PA, Hillary's chance of closing the deal are slim to none. Even if she swepted every contest with the same percentages as tonight, she will be behind in the pop. vote, behind in pledged delegates and behind in states won....

And then what? Even if? Well, then, more fighting, more exhaustion, more bennies for McCain, more time wasted... and then, and THEN, even IF the living Freak Skull that is Hillary Rodham WINS over ALL the remaining Super Delagates and "wins"...

What then? Do you really, REALLY believe that the Right Wing machine that Hillary has been working for will work WITH her?

    Hardly.

Hillary is doing the dirty work for the RNC now only because it is "working"... by tearing down the party, decrying MoveOn.org and every other organization that is trully progressive, by selling to the lizard brain we have at the base of our skulls with photos of Osama and all that, Hillary has only created a scenario where, if she is LUCKY will, at best, wreck the party and leave her standing with hacks and losers who only care about HER and do not care about US, as in you and me and U.S.....

    Wow.

    Let's all celebrate. Go Hill.

  • Bad timing, rampant willful ignorance

[Read the article: California Supreme Court legalizes gay marriage]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The same people who say that the timing on this doesn't matter:

    - Probably think that Ralph Nader had no effect on the 2000 election

    - Probably think the SF gay marriage stunt had no effect in the 2004 election

    - Probably think that the evil Hillary "deserves" to keep running

All the above "facts" are actually false statements. The problem, for many people, is that they just don't want to let facts get in the way of their "freedom."

Yes, you are free to put your foot in your mouth and have your leash tightened around your neck by corporate interests.

You can help them by supporting devicive activities. Go for it.

What REALLY matters here is your "opinion." YOU are therefor more important than your fellow 230 million Americans.

    Thanks much.

Here's a bright idea, how about making a big stink about abortion on demand rights or other issues that devide rather than bring us together.

    Perfect.

    Hello, president McCain.

  • Ah, Sweet Redemption. Sweet, sweet victory

[Read the article: The fight over Florida and Michigan]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I really do feel for all your HillBilly devotees. You, who worship the very nylon and poly pastel pantsuits that Hillary, in her ever-widening profile fills. You who believe it is "time" for a "woman."

You, who, sadly, don't really pay attention to reality.

The reality is this. Hillary Rodham (her legal name, look it up) is just barely female. Certainly she gave birth. Certainly she has less of an adam's apple than Ann ColtHair. But, really. Can you really say this "person" is as female as, say, Nancy Pelosi? Can you see Nancy blathering about sniper fire and obliterating this or that or incapable of saying the simple words "I'm sorry" or "I was wrong?" Can you see most women politicians as the embodiment of machoism that is the carefully constructed manefesto that is H. Rodham? No.

And... the gaffs? Do we really need that? Is she, in speaking, truly more articulate than the prez we have now?

Is she more loveable? More honorable? More honest? More capable?

    No.

Hillary Billary doc. The **tch ran out the clock.

It's. Over. It's finally, gleefully OVER. She.... LOST.

She lost! Get it? Game.... OVER. Come Saturday, another nail. Come Tuesday, two more. Close the coffin on the most annoying campaign in the history of the Dem Party. Close it!

She...... say it with me now.... LOST.

I'm sorry. Maybe you missed that last part. Hillary Rodham will never ever never ever never be Prez... or really, anything other than the Junior Sen from NY. And at that, she should consider herself fortunate to have run against an idiot.

Look out though. Next time around, Hillary might not have it so easy there either. She could, and should, and I very much hope, soon be completely out of a job.

Certainly the job of Prez is too big for her. By half. And Vice? No. She has done a scorched earth on that as well.

Maybe she can get her old job back defending white collar criminals. Or maybe working for Wal-Mart. They'd take her back. And her light blue blazer is already fitted. All she needs is the smily face button.

  • A Fervent Plea to Women Everywhere

[Read the article: Democrats, put down your swords]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Time Magazine has a fine article detailing the FACT that Obama does almost as well as Hillary with women.... contrary to the MSM blather.

It's also a FACT that John McCain is male and will do less for women as president than will Barrack Obama.

It's also a fact that a "protest vote," by definition, means a vote that goes against what your brain tells you to do..... it is a vote out of anger, or fear, or whatever. A protest vote is a wrong-headed vote by any other name....

Look at Obama's crowds... Obama's campaign photos, Obama's team... filled with happy, intelligent, capable, and empowered women.

Don't vote for more death in Iraq, more debt for our children, more suffering for the planet by voting for John McCain.

Vote for your daughter's future and your granddaughter's future.

Vote for the brave men and women who have served honorably and deserve to come home.

And don't just vote for Barrack Obama... channel that eagerness you had to see change in the White House to good use NOW.... get involved in getting Barrack Obama elected.
