Add to your list his speech at the 04' Convention and you've made your case, for sure.

I'm not amazed at McCain's sudden reemergence. After all, the corporate outlets in the business of news love to dramatize failures into success...and, of course, vice versa. But the interesting facts do stand much as this article presents them. Indeed, it may even fall short. Nonetheless, McCain will have a hard time convincing anyone whose thinking is clear that he's been anti-Rumsfeld in a perceptive way.

McCain was Keynote speaker for the Republicans during the 04' Convention. During that speech he attempted to take the tone of a, father figure / trusted commodity, to a nation scared to death of a conflict spiraling out of control. Oddly enough he played that role by making sure we understood that the war was the right thing to do, period. In almost hushed tones he went on to say that Bush’s war, in every respect, was going much, much better than was commonly believed.

This actually was the first time, too, McCain showed he was willing to reinvent himself to satisfy the Right Wing. He was more than willing to mutate his career and take it down a path that was crashing and burning right before his very eyes. The Rove playbook was run with...He even took to Iraq wearing a flak jacket.

Too bad this story didn't delve into it his Iraq stance from that point of view because essentially it's not that McCain is being disingenuous. It's actually the case that he's showing he lacks the judgment to be President.

Perhaps this site will keep an eye on that aspect of his constant appeal to continue the war in Iraq.

I know for a fact the Main Stream Media aren’t going to.

RE: What about the issue of the poor showing, total?!

A little context hear, please. The Democrats have not even ammassed in total the vote count of Romney on his own. To say that a country is demanding movement in a rapid pace toward change on the one hand...Then to have the party considered responsible for what's needing change most end up having such a much higher turnout is, to say the least, glaring...

The Dems are doing it all wrong, again.

First, crying and bickering in NH.

Then, race baiting and attempting to take the vote to the courts before it even begins...plus having one of the candidates chanelling Ronald Reagan, of all people!...obviously isn't getting it done.

In other words, somebody, at least one of these candidates, should talk about the change really needed before assuming the media picks the President!

Nonetheless, if assumptions are allowed here's one: Democrats disappoint, again!

RE: Two candidates bringing out the worst in people.

That this primary season has been media driven is one thing. But for two candidates to promote it is entirely another. How else could you have tension after tension before any state considered anywhere near large makes one vote?

Already I'm discouraged to the point of being turned away from the polls. The Republican tactics of divide and ruin are why. There is one interesting difference between those who promote division as a matter of habit, though, and their Dem counters.

With the Republicans you at least expect it. You know, that is, that the leading Republicans are simply weak, and, therefore, hateful as a last resort. Dragging us down to their level always makes them happiest!

I don't know which of these two "leaders" to be more appalled at actually. Obama really outdid himself with his Reagan comments over the weekend. While Hillary has taken "a take no prisoners" approach far too seriously...perhaps even to heart.

Wow!

Too bad there's a war going on getting in the way of these egomaniacs' drive for attention.

Some would say, too, that self-hate has permeated the Democratic Party. Feeling oppressed by Republicans they don't stand up to, these so called leaders are more than willing to throw supporters into the fray in revealing ways. As their supporters flock to tell them how ardent they're willing to be, though, at least someone needs to ask how such supposedly accomplished individuals came to hate so quickly?

Perhaps we need a new Party?

Since this one is enroute to being burnt the fuck down!
