Original article: The Rush and Rove Show

So Rove can talk to the public about everything except all the mess he's made!!!

What the fuck are that drug addict Limbaugh and that soon to be convict Rove doing? In essence they're under the impression that ruining the country and claiming doing so was their patriotic duty is an accomplishment of some sort. Hard as it is to believe Rove's worse than Limbaugh though. Hard as it is to believe his ego is starting to show every sign of having no bounds. After all, wasn't he supposed to be spending time with his fam?

His resignation is just another bunch of bullshit.

If you stop and think about it the motivation behind it is actually quite simple. One day he woke up and realized he was in the White House. And it was at that moment he realized he was out of his lower class leauge.

For sure, Rove is history's loser all day long!

Original article: Kept out of the loop

Let Salon readers know, too, that those same notes contradicted Gonzales.

Hey, I read the most important part of that NYT article on Muellers notes. And from them it is clear Gonzales is lying about his visit to Ashcroft's hospital bed. Gonzales's version is a lie guilty of perjury. Period.

Also, Ashcroft was pressured by Gonzales and now we see why. He was left out of the loop, then needed, and, with an ego Ashcroft's size he must have been more than a bull in the china shop attacking wiretapping at every turn. Nothing worse than a Right Winger Scorned!!

That is until he fell ill and Bush & Cheney sicked their lapdog for legal matters on him.

But here's the real news of Mueller's notes. They motivated Rove's "retirement." That set of notes is THE smoking gun because it ties everything together. Everything. If Gonzales is trapped in a lie, and these notes prove he is, then all else said, involved, following, surrounding and planned and implemented is in question.

That, my friends, is one hell of a can of worms.

This Admin is going down...down...down!!!

Rove is a wannabe; that's what Rove is...and they are after him in order to take his ass to jail!!!

Man, I saw part of his warped victory tour on Meet the Press.

And, to say the least, never has so much influence been given to one with so little skill. The man lacks any depth, his vocabulary is stunted at a level of the autistic, and his world view is indeed that of an angry child. Rove was rapid in defense of a set of opinions that continually missed the point. Yet, after being allowed to express them virtually unchallenged he took to believing that gave them instant validation.

Finally, after just twenty minutes with the Vanity Fair like David Gregory I almost vomited. Gregory showed a clip of Rove defending Nixon in 72' and it all came together...or all of my breakfast just about came up. Rove was detailing how he was committed to signing up young Republicans, during a time that could only be done by cramming down the throat of whoever was stupid enough to listen, the most insane undestanding of the political process ever.

Of course, that means he claimed patriotic duty to his "cause."

Rove was a mess in 72', he's a mess now, and the entire country reeks of his stench with failure, for sure!!!

Lock his ass constitution perverting ass up now, please!!!

Original article: Nouri al-who?

What a freakin twist to Alice in Wonderland.

Bush giving hints as to who should be in office is beyond bizarre> It's very fairy tale, though.

I find myself laughing repeatedly at this worsening tragedy and know its effects are from another realm. As if by a spell I've been captured into staring at horror one moment, then at a figure whose position engeders respect ingrained in me and I spin into near delirium. But then I realize it isn't me that's lost. No, it's the current President that has no awareness at all!

Bush firmly believes spending time spinning this tragedy into political terms, i.e., red state vs. blue state SOLVES the problem. To have it reported today that the largest one day death toll occurred last week doesn't stop this belief. Nor do the many other instances where his repeatedly failed strategy have been implemented. Implemented in every way shape or form, even while he's trying to scapegoat the Iraqi Leader he all but founded.

Maybe we should have used Chalabi?

Maybe the President should be given a pink slip!!!

I just hope I don't have to read Rove's focus is further evidence of his genius.

To see Clinton as a threat doesn't take a great strategist. It actually takes a lack of focus, for some reason, to see someone who makes that claim as the sole seer. Rove's whole career has been taking the obvious and claiming it as creation. Scaring others, hating the rest, in the context of a society struggling as America has over the last thirty years or so is actually a stupid thing at best.

Unless you're under the impression that the first ten years of this one-hundred-years-war redo Rove has us trapped in is a good thing.

Rove's a loser. Always has been, except in his own mind and the petrified minds of those whom he's misled over the years.

Oh, I almost forgot, this is about Clinton too isn't it?

Well, Hillary loves these attacks. Yea, that way she doesn't have to put forth ideas and suffer criticism that takes the shine off her well polished, forever triangulating, persona.

Latest Hillaryism, "The surge is working, somewhat."

Wow!

Man, talk about your power knows no bounds moments.

What is Craig's networth? I know he's tied to the financial community in a substantial way because of legislation he recently introduced. But I only bring up the point not to say he's hanging on for money's sake. I bring it up to point out he's NOT hanging on for that reason.

He's addicted to his Senate life!

Out in Idaho for many the belief is that Washington is the embodiment of evil. Well, well, well, look at what they send to the Capitol!

Moral of the story?

Tearing down Government for selfish reasons is bound to bite you in the ass. Not that Craig would mind that very much...but that's going to be the only outcome EVER!!!
