  • Guilty conscience of white america

[Read the article: Obama's double magic]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Obama's Iowa victory and possible win in NH is nothing but guilty conscience of few white liberals and statement by young generation X that they are not as racist as their previous generations. Anyone really believes that if Obama's father was white and Obama's name was Jim, John or Mike and Obama's was as white as John Edwards, he would really have any chance of winning Iowa or NH with the qualifications he brings to the table. He is a two year senator and has spend few years in Illinois senate. No corporation will hire him as a CEO. This looks like Jesse Jackson of 1988 all over again. At least Jesse Jackson won 11 contests including 7 primaries and 4 cacuses and later lost to Dukakis. White liberals will toy with Obama idea, feel good about themselves for sometime and then eventually the reality will set in which will be evident on Feb 5th.

  • You must be joking

[Read the article: A "free ride" for Obama and Edwards?]

Its pathetic that all you can come up with scrutiny of Obama and Edwards is this. None of it pertains to any policy issues. When will media focus on Obama's identical voting record in senate as Hillary.

All the big talk and hypocrisy on Obama's part that I opposed the war in 2002 and voted for the every single dime that Bush asked for to continue war once I got in the senate.

The Obama hypocrisy that I was against patriot act before I join the senate but I vote for patriot act once I was in the senate.

The Obama hypocrisy of conveniently missing Kyl-Liberman vote and criticizing Hillary for her vote.

Of all the US senators running as presidential candidates Obama has missed most votes in the senate.

The voting record of Obama in Illinois senate is another story that media has missed it completely. His persistent avoidance to take any stand on important votes is clearly evident. He has voted "present" and not yes/no on many many important votes.

Just couple of examples he was the only Illinois senator to vote "present" on a vote that proposed to seal the documents of all the victims of sex crimes. Does he believe that the records of victims of sex crime such as rape should be made public?

He voted "present" on a vote to ban opening of sex shops near from schools. Does he believe that sex shops should be opened near schools?

As a US president he cannot get away with voting present or giving big speeches. He will have to take tough decisions.

We all know how pathetic and pandering our media has become. Your article clearly shows your grasp of the subject and your unwillingness to get off your butt and do some research before publishing something silly like this.

  • Who Cares

[Read the article: Why I'm still not for Hillary Clinton]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Really don't flatter yourself. You are one of those yuppie elites who will never get it why poor, less educated people have voted for Clintons in 1990s and will always vote for Clinton.
