re: Ask the pilot

The American Airlines idea of charging for luggage is an unfortunate one. I used to fly American all the time but with this decision I will no longer fly them (unless they are the only ones going to that specific destination). When I go on a trip I go for a minimum of one week so having extra clothes is mandatory for me. I also carry a weeks worth of reading as well, so that is another suitcase.

I have instructed my travel person NOT to book any flights on American. The idea of charging extra is preposterous for two bags let alone one. If they are going in direct competition with Southwest airlines fine, just do not expect to have me as a customer.

re: Vondo

Sigh... I give up, I have tried ignoring kids, saying nice things to them, saying nice things to their parents and nothing seems to help. One flight (lasted 3 hours) the child talked quite a bit during the trip. I asked the father (nicely) to keep the kid quiet and I was threatened with bodily injury if I said another thing. I informed the stewardess and she did nothing. I asked to talk with the pilot and he at least went over to talk with the father. I was pretty sure he did not have a weapon but still a threat is a threat. As we got off the plane the father threatened me again. I walked over to the person behind the ticket both and related to her what happened she just tossed it off saying "some people get angry over nothing". I asked to talk with her supervisor but by then the people had dispersed and the father was nowhere to be seen. Maybe a Taser should be carried to protect us from parents as well as kids. I wish there was a way to find out ahead of time if there are any kids on board then we could take another flight or on the other extreme make certain flights off limits to all kids.

Sorry

Sorry, I do not trust Obama never have and never will. He could have shown his leadership by resigning from his church *BEFORE* the the race not after words. His inaction shows that we cannot trust him to do the right thing. He has not shown any leadership during his current champaign so again why should anyone trust him? His lack of foreign policy background is almost disgraceful. Of course Hillary's is not much better but at least she admits it. When I vote next it will be with a write in ballot for someone else NOT McCain to be sure. I hope everyone does the same.

re: Can you hear me now? Obama's missing 2 percent

This is sort of interesting.

If anyone calls me on my cell phone and I did not give approval for it I instantly hang up.

a. Once I have found out who/why I hang up.

b. Vote for someone else.

c: I do the same on my home phone PERIOD.

I am on the do not call list for a reason. I do NOT care if the politicians were exempted. They get what they deserve for disturbing me. I value my privacy quite a bit and will not put up with these types of interruptions.

McCain vs Obama

Ok, look neither candidate is presidential material. McCain is just another (or worse if that is possible) George Bush. Obama cannot be trusted he voted for FISA and has endorsed state subsidized religion. The Democratic party in its infinite wisdom gave us an unelectable person and a person who in my opinion has no backbone. The other option Ms Hillary and her husband are not quite as bad as Obama but I would not have voted for her even if she was nominated. We were given (by both parties) no presidential material. The only option I can see is to either write in as a candidate "none of the above" or don't vote.

The Republicans are doing darn good considering George Bush should have been IMPEACHED but it is apparent that he has something really juicy on Nancy Pelosi for her to take impeachment off the table.

If you don't want to vote for either vote the green Party Candidate (whoever that is).

Hillary's Big Party

Let me open by saying I am a Democrat. Yes at one time I even voted for a Republican (NIXON,sigh yes I know).

I am extremely disappointed by the Democrat's going for Obama. However I am just as happy that they skipped Hillary. I cannot not trust either candidate for various reasons.

Obama:

Voted for FISA

Questionable stands on various social issues.

Wants the US government to support Religious Schools.

Hillary:

Her Husband's pick of William Clinton tells all.

I will be doing a write in Vote for: None of the above.

Intelligent Decision?

>Friday

>Why didn't they tell us all this stuff on Friday?

>Wouldn't that have been the intelligent decision?

Err no shouldn't that be intelligent design?:)

Original article: I Like to Watch

re: "I like to Watch"

As others have said "Burn Notice" is mild fun and it is entertaining. Some of the side characters (Michael's mother and his FBI friend) strain believability somewhat. The producers need to reign back on the "burn notice" mystery a little. Its OK to have side stories but the "who done it" is wearing just a little bit thin, IMO. It is some what needed as robin hood character is wearing thin a little.

The problem with his mother is that she is too much of a nag and his brother is too stupid to care about. Maybe they should have an episode and kill them both off. I also suspect Fiona's boy friend is gay and she is using him to make Michael jealous. While on the topic of his girl friend she is just a little bit too beautiful and smart to be a mini-arms dealer (not that I know any to begin with).
