Al Gore in 2000 instead of Bush - yes please!!
[Read the article: How bad is he?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]John makes an excellent point about what things might be like had Gore been elected in 2000. Even if 9/11 had happened on his watch he would more than likely have acted in a much more sober and intelligent way than George Junior. The only problem for Gore would have been the republican dominated congress who, along with GW, would have been sniping at his heels and maybe GW would then have made it in 2004. Would they not have fabricated about Iraq out of power just as they did in power? If we had not suffered Bush in 2000 we would probably have wound up with him in 2004 and then what? Would we start the cycle then instead of Gore's reign? The greatest mistake the voters made was in 2004 when they re-elected a man with obvious learning difficulties, a history of drunkeness and a lazy disposition. In other words, a waster!

Great show!
[Read the article: The man behind "Battlestar Galactica"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I recently became addicted to this show on DVD after my wife turned me on to it. The sci fi is secondary to the storyline which is what makes it work for me. It's set so many years in the future and have people changed one iota? No. People are as racist as ever and cancer is still a killer. I will miss Starbuck though. Her character was so great and so screwed up which is what makes her interesting. I do hope to see her in the show again before it ends though. And not as a goddamn Cylon! Seems like all my favourite TV shows will be ending soon. Guess I'm going to have some fracking separation issues to deal with.
