Much to my surprise, I heard news outlets and cable networks declaring Obama the front runner. I am also surprised when Senator Clinton was ahead there was no mention of a front runner.
There has been a clear difference as we approach these candidates. I would expect it is easier to attack a woman, then a African American man.
There is also a clear policy difference as well as experience and lack there of. This has exacerbated Hillary Clinton's ability to gain traction when the media anoints one and demonizes the other,
As a woman, it has really disturbed me. Obama in my opinion, is far from ready to deal with the most serious problems this country is facing and will be facing. Swift Boaters are going to go after Obama and he is not prepared for that. Hillary has gone against everything that has been thrown her way and picks herself up, dusts herself off and gets ready for the next round of unnecessary attacks. Obama is winning some states by insulting his opponent, but he has no substance. I know one thing for certain, as a Democrat who has never missed a vote will stay home in November if Obama gets the nomination. For that I am sorry, but Obama scares me because all he has is inspiration and that won't solve the problems we face.
I am not an Obama supporter, so you can imagine how funny this video is. This "Yes We Can" mantra are three words that don't take us to an answer as to "How Will We". I find Obama to be a legend in his own mind and his speeches are preaches. A real turn off.
Any idea this we can Guy has is from listening to Clinton speeches. I urge everyone on the 21st and 28th watch those debates and count how many times he is asked the same question Clinton was asked and answered, he says "I agree with Senator Clinton"... He owes his rise in the polls from capturing her comments and answers.
Obama is a college kid's dream. He speaks to them and they are moved, but, they don't recognize the differences between Obama and Clinton.
Sexism is far more problematic then race. Woman have to work ten times harder then their male counter-parts to achieve. When Obama's daily speeches are assaults on Hillary's character, not a word mentioned. If Hillary attacks, she's this or that.
Obama "Yes We Can", Hillary "Yes We Will".. Take a listen and give her the same chance.
It is true, but, unfortunately it is men like your self which helps prove what is true.
The men who dislike Hillary are usually men whom are very intimidated by strong, intelligent and powerful woman. I don't have to prove it you have to research it as I did. The inequality is there.
I do however, thank you for your compliment. Just one thing, I don't try, I succeed!!!!!!!!!!!
I have spent the better part of the past year and Obama has never given a speech without injecting insults to Clinton. Why is it Obama has a constant negative and when Hillary attacks it's because she's losing.
Sexism is alive and well in America and the media. I am sick and tired of Obama getting away with the very thing he accuses Clinton of. Inspirational speeches does not make a president, experience does. I hope Hillary grabs the next primary and makes a clean sweep.
When Hillary attacks, it's a good thing and I think her having ignored his attacks have hurt her, so, Hillary GO!!!!!!!!!!
I hope this goes to the convention. As a woman I would be less then pleased to have the first serious woman candidate run for President against the nasty media and concede. NO!
Hillary has had to endure ignorant men holding signs "iron my shirt"! Obama hasn't had to deal with the same problems. Imagine, a sign being held saying "shine my shoes"! How humiliating and racist, yet sexist comments are somehow acceptable. Well, I'm here to say it's not acceptable that somehow a woman can be insulted, but an African American man cannot. Are we really a country of equality? No we are far from it.
Go all the way to the convention, find a way to seat the delegates from MI and FL and let the Super-delegates be downsized to less then the 800. Too many.
The media has really hurt the Clinton campaign. Jack Cafferty on CNN has several questions nightly and they are ALL about degrading Hillary Clinton and he dislikes her ad did their Jeffrey Tubin who called her geeky. Is there such a word. They speak of the inspiring speeches of Obama. What happened to fair and balanced? It only exists for anyone but Hillary. I sometimes ask myself, what in the name of Heaven did this smart woman ever do to anyone to deserve this treatment. I also ask, what has Obama done to deserve his treatment. I guess we'll let the Supers decide. It's preferable to the Supremes! Look who they gave us........
