Still pissed
[Read the article: Voter suppression in North Carolina?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Okay, I took a few deep breaths and a walk around the block. I'm still pissed about this.
Ever heard of the phrase "follow the money," Alex? It was the advice given to Woodward and Bernstein that helped them uncover the story of the Watergate break-in and bring down a corrupt president. You not only didn't follow it, you willfully ignored it. Almost $35,000 given to Hillary's campaign by WVWV staffers -- ten times as much given to Obama and six times as much given to every other candidate combined. That doesn't indicate the presence of bias to you?
And look at who's affiliated with this group:
- John Podesta (board member): Former chief of staff to Bill Clinton
- Joe Goode (executive director): Former pollster for Bill Clinton's 1992 campaign
- Page Gardner (founder and president): Former deputy political director for Bill Clinton's 1992 campaign
- Maggie Williams (former leadership team member and strategic planner): Hillary Clinton's campaign manager
North Carolina wasn't the first time they got caught doing something like this. They've repeated this pattern of illegal robocalls and voter disinformation for five months in a dozen states, and every single time they're called on it, their response is, "Oops, we did it again!"
How likely is it that an organization founded and run by seasoned political vets can be this consistently ignorant of the law and keep repeating the same mistakes over and over and over? They're stupid like a fox.
You found "no solid evidence of wrongdoing." Well, no shit, Sherlock. These people are pros. They've been around the block a few times in the past 15-20 years, and they know that if there's any direct linkage between their organization and Hillary's campaign, it's game over for her. Much like the 527 ad campaign that's swiftboating Obama in Indiana, there can't be any official connection between it and the campaign, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that there's some collusion going on there.
Unfortunately, the War Room doesn't have a genius, or even a sub-genius. We've just got a pro-Hillary hack who doesn't have the guts to wear his political preferences on his sleeve.

[Read the article: Voter suppression in North Carolina?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Normally, I would push Alex to cover that story, but I pushed hard for him to cover this one, and look at the abortion that we got.
If Alex does cover that story, he'll find "no compelling evidence" that the Bill Clinton ever approved that deal, that Bill's signature was forged on the documents, and that Hillary valiantly chained herself to the factory gates as Chinese tanks rolled toward her.

I'm sorry, but how many Nobel Prizes have you won?
[Read the article: Obama is wrong about the gas tax]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Because it sounds like Obama's lined up four Nobel winners who disagree with you, along with over two hundred other economists from across the political spectrum. I know that they're "elite" and all, but forgive me if I take their word over yours.

@ jebldmm
[Read the article: Dems hold dueling conference calls]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Clinton can't win 10% of the votes. Obama can't win the other 90%. Yet the main story is about how Clinton has a problem with blacks. The assumption seems to be that white people are open-minded enough to support Obama in the general even if they supported Clinton in the primary, but black people aren't. Kind of insulting, isn't it?
If Obama wins the nomination, it's because he earned the victory by winning the most delegates, the most contests, and the most popular votes. If Hillary wins the nomination, it's because she managed to persuade a few hundred party insiders to overthrow the will of the people. This isn't a question of black Americans being open-minded. This is a question of black Americans having no patience for someone who's trying to steal a victory that she can't win legitimately.

@ Rambling Rose 22
[Read the article: "We lost this thing in February"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Make this guy earn it! Up until March, Obama had not earned a damn thing!
Right. Never earned a damn thing. Except a degree from Columbia, his law degree from Harvard, the editorship of the Harvard Law Review, election to the Illinois State Senate, and election to the US Senate, with no family name or personal fortune to help him accomplish any of that.
He hi-jacked the Party nomination before anyone saw it coming.
You're absolutely correct, if by "hijacked" you mean "won legitimately by winning the most votes, the most delegates, and the most contests." He "hijacked" the nomination in the same way that a pilot who goes to flight school, gets his pilot's license, and takes a job at American Airlines "hijacks" the plane he's paid to fly.
He and his egg-head lefties, impressionable 20-somethings, and southern African-American Democrats can figure it out after November - when they lose another one for the Party.
You forgot Communists, secret Muslims, the Nation of Islam, the Weather Underground... and approximately 49% of voters in the Democratic primary, as opposed to Hillary's 47.5%. And that's counting Florida. But tell the story any way you need to if it helps you feel better. I'm sure this is a very trying time for you, and it's only going to get worse from here on out.
