"Just words"
[Read the article: Report: Richardson to endorse Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]So, if I understand this, the thing that convinced Bill Richardson to break from the Clintons--the political dynasty that virtually made his political career--was because he was inspired by Obama's speech on race.
Maybe Hil had better retire that talking point about Obama's campaign being founded on "just words," because they seem do be paying much bigger dividends than her over-inflated claims of "experience."

@ KateTex
[Read the article: Clinton camp goes on offense against Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]So, Kate, when Obama does win the nomination, and when he does become president in November, will you admit that Obama and his supporters had the right idea all along? Or will you continue to wallow in your increasing bitterness?

[Read the article: Clinton camp goes on offense against Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]And if he were to win, how would that validate your claim that his supporters have 'had the right idea all along'?
I was responding specifically to your claim that he cannot win the general election. When he does win the general, you will have been proven wrong.
I'm very familiar with your postings, and I've responded to a number of them. As Hillary does worse in the primary, your vitriol has increased. So, yeah, I see that as bitterness.
But you didn't answer my question: When Obama wins in November, will you admit that you were wrong about his electability?

@ son of loud
[Read the article: Clinton camp goes on offense against Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Right, because Al Gore and John Kerry won every state in the general that they took in the election, and no one who loses a state in the primary ever wins it in the general. Have you ever actually followed a presidential election?
It's pretty sad when you have to resort to outright lies like this to try and make a candidate look competitive, when even her own campaign is privately admitting that she only has a 10% chance of winning at this point:

Good riddance, Allen
[Read the article: Report: Richardson to endorse Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]If your dedication to your party is as shallow as your dedication to the online communities you post in (I see that this was only your third Salon letter), then they're both better off without you.

That's funny...
[Read the article: Clinton camp goes on offense against Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"Perhaps the time when he could have been most effective has long since past."
Those are the EXACT same words that go through my mind every time Mark Penn opens his mouth.

@ Allen
[Read the article: Report: Richardson to endorse Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama should do a little changing and drop his hatful church.
What's so bad about a church that's full of hats? I thought it was full of America-hating Negroes.

@ Kilroy

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Where are you getting this 7-point poll thing? I just checked RCP's poll summary, and here's what I saw:

And as a straight white man of Protestant descent, I have no patience for anyone who claims that our socioeconomic group somehow has it worse than any other. We hit the jackpot as far as built-in advantages go. If you've got a problem with how you've been treated, might I suggest it has more to do with the content of your character than the color of your skin?

One million strong
[Read the article: Obama, Clinton, McCain money game ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Lets hope that the Dems don't feel obliged to sell the store to people who screwed them when the Repugs were looking at a permanent majority.
If anyone else is concerned about this, might I suggest supporting the candidate who's received contributions from over 1,000,000 supporters, averaging about $100 apiece, while also turning down PAC and corporate contributions?
(Hint: It's the secret Muslim terrorist one whose crazy pastor hates America.)

[Read the article: Clinton camp goes on offense against Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I guess we're just feeling pretty good about the Rev. Wright thing blowing over, Obama's race speech being received so well, Bill Richardson's endorsement, and recent polls showing that Obama still enjoys a lead over Hillary, despite just going through the biggest test of his candidacy.
So yeah, as an "Obamabot," I'm pretty fired up. And I totally understand why the Shrill Hil Shills ain't.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]The "numbers don't lie"...Can you please tell me where I can find the latest Gallup Poll?...Lol...
Sure. I posted it about a dozen comments ago. Hil has a statistically insignificant 2-point lead. It's also the only poll conducted this week where she leads at all.
...Lol...
