I don't think it's particularly fair
[Read the article: No revote in Florida]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]...but let's just cut the damn delegates in half and seat them as voted. I'm so done with this. Obama's my man, but he can afford to lose a couple dozen delegates. And it makes him look like the bigger candidate for agreeing to something that's obviously not in his self-interest, for the sake of not disenfranchising Florida Democrats. I think the whole thing's a pile of crap, and I lay the blame straight at the feet of the state legislature, but the Demos can't afford to look like they care less than the Repubs about primary voters.
And I hope that every one of those Floridians who have been whining about Dean and the DNC for 2 1/2 months now votes out every one of the state senators and representatives who got them into this mess in the first place.

@ Dana
[Read the article: No revote in Florida]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The Republican majority in the state legislature pushed to move the date up, but hardly more than a handful of Democratic senators and representatives voted against the idea. So it was a Republican idea that the Democrats rolled over for.
Haven't we had enough of this in the last seven--hell, fifteen--years?

[Read the article: Hillary Clinton's long strange journey on Iraq]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It boiled down to wanting to avoid the Kerry flip-flop label, as well as believing that the first serious female candidate for commander in chief needed to look resolute, and couldn't afford to admit a mistake. Whoever sold her on that idea must have been…a man.
Joan, I hope this was just a miserably botched attempt at tongue-in-cheek humor and not a serious attempt to get Hillary off the hook for her "never admit a mistake" attitude. I don't see how this statement is any less offensive than the right wing cracks about Hillary not wanting to be the first female president, but the first president in drag. Would you have said that Obama obviously struck such a heavy emotional note in speech on race because his wife talked him into it?
If Hillary confused intractability with strength, that's her own poor judgment showing. You'd think that after seven years of GWB, she'd have learned the difference by now. Or maybe her weak and impressionable female mind simply isn't able to resist the power of a strong masculine influence?

Umm...
[Read the article: A closer look at Clinton's Bosnia schedule]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I think Alex's point was to illustrate that Hillary specifically mentioned coming under "sniper fire" on this occasion. And everybody else who was there, including Sinbad (my personal favorite part of the story), says that she's full of crap.
So, yay to Hillary for traveling to a potentially dangerous area for the sake of trying to bring peace. That's a very cool thing to do. Quite presidential, one might say.
And boo to Hillary for stepping outside of the bounds of the facts to try and make her visit seem more dangerous (and therefore more impressive?) than it actually was. Lies often get presidents in trouble. She might know a thing or two about that.
Also, I don't buy for a second that this was a simple "whoops." I've never been shot at, but I'm pretty sure that I'd remember exactly when and where it happened if it ever did. How embarrassing for her to be called out by Sinbad (!!).
(Still my favorite part of the story.)

[Read the article: Hillary Clinton's long strange journey on Iraq]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]If Obama were definitely anti-war (that is, if he had any integrity), or if he were even only anti Clinton's war vote, he'd call her on her vote and never let up.
You are talking about Barack Obama, right? He's kinda made a big deal out of being the only presidential candidate to oppose the war from the start, countering Hillary's claim of superior experience with his own claim of superior judgment. I seem to remember something about a 3 AM phone call ad that he countered, saying that when Hillary got her 3 AM phone call, she dropped the ball and let George Bush torch Iraq.
Perhaps you're thinking of John McCain? They're frequently mistaken for each other. Hint: Obama is the one who doesn't look like he feasts on corpseflesh.

Yawn

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Thanks for providing a convenient stereotype for Joe Sixpack to tar all of us anti-war types with, ladies. Any chance of you adding a shut-the-f**k-up-in to your slate of activities?

And the answer is...
[Read the article: Would Americans elect a woman president?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Not this year!
Zing!

Oh noes!
[Read the article: The GOP attack plan for Barack Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You're saying that the Republicans are going to use the same old arguments that they pull out against any minority or progressive candidate?
Bring it. A lot of us have been waiting for fifteen years to back a candidate who will stand his ground, and stands a good chance of winning to boot.
