  "We need a fighter. Hillary has proved herself beyond the shadow of a doubt."

  Has Hillary proved herself a fighter? Really?

  I know she has fought very hard to defeat Senator Obama, but during the previous eight years, what has she done to fight George W. Bush and the Republicans?

  Is no one else outraged by the fact that for the past eight years the Clintons have done little, if anything, to oppose the abuses of the Bush administration? Don't you think that would have been worth spending a little political capital on?

  I have raised this issue several times, and I have never heard a Clinton supporter even try to explain why Bill and Hillary Clinton were virtually AWOL as putative leaders of the Democratic party while the Republicans were wrecking the country.

  You would almost think that the Clintons had been intentionally maintaining a low profile, purposefully avoiding controversy, and biding their time for a future White House run....

  At the very least, I would guess that the Clintons weren't disturbed enough about the direction the country was heading to jeopardize Hillary's future presidential hopes.

  But now, after eight years of being a follower, she's suddenly decided to be a leader.

  And we're supposed to buy it, with out short attention spans.
