Reality Counts
[Read the article: Looking past Pennsylvania]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"Secondly, William Ayers and Bernadette Dohrn are unrepentent domestic terrorists who not only attempted to set bombs but actually did and people were killed."
You're talking about the Greenwich Village townhouse explosion, right? Are you purposefully omitting to mention the fact that the three people who died were Weathermen who were caught by a premature detonation? Or are you thinking of something else? Because I would hate to think you were being intentionally misleading....
By the way, has anyone gone after Clinton's close associations with known terrorists?
For instance, Nelson Mandela? You know that Nelson Mandela was a leader of Umkhonto we Sizwe, a terrorist organization which engaged in a campaign of bombings and sabotage in which people were killed and badly injured? And that Mandela himself admitted that the African National Congress - which was affiliated with the South African Communist Party - engaged in human rights violations? Do you know that Clinton claims a very close friendship with this known terrorist, even attending birthday parties for the man?
What about Bill Clinton's known association with Yassar Arafat, leader of the Palestine Liberation Organization, which was which designated a terrorist organization by the U.S. government and was responsible for the hijacking of the Achille Lauro during which a man was killed? What about the pictures of Hillary Clinton warmly kissing this known terrorist's wife on the cheek?
What do these associations, as well as Clinton's commutation of the sentences of two convicted Weather Underground members, say about Bill Clinton's casual attitude towards terrorists?
You know who else was a terrorist sympathizer?
Ronald Reagan. He praised the mujahideen as "Freedom Fighters." He was also a big fan of a group of terrorists known as the "Contras" in Nicaragua. In fact, the American government funded and armed both terrorists organizations.
Also, the Reagan Administration sold arms to Islamic extremists in Iran AFTER the Iranians had taken American citizens hostage and held them for over a year. Next time John McCain starts praising his hero Ronald Reagan, someone should ask him how he feels about the Gipper's selling arms to Islamic extremists. Or how he feels about Ronald Reagan's selling chemical weapons to Saddam Hussein. I mean, since the fight against Islamic extremism is the transcendent challenge of the 21st century, you'd think someone would have called on McCain to repudiate, reject, and renounce Ronald Reagan by now...
Wow, this is fun!
Anyone up for a quick game of Six Degrees of Baader-Meinhof?

A missed opportunity
[Read the article: Looking past Pennsylvania]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]In the true spirit of Reality Counts, I should have omitted Mandela's name. Then it would have sounded REALLY bad:
"For instance, do you know that Bill Clinton is close friends with the former leader of Umkhonto we Sizwe, a terrorist organization which engaged in a campaign of bombings and sabotage in which people were killed and badly injured? And Clinton's terrorist buddy admitted that the African National Congress - which he also led and which was affiliated with the South African Communist Party - engaged in human rights violations? Do you know that Clinton has been known to boast of his friendship with this known terrorist, even attending birthday parties for the man?"
That's much better...

Hillary Clinton's Anti-Semitic Preacher!
[Read the article: Looking past Pennsylvania]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Do you know that the minister who Hillary Clinton claims counseled her through the Monica Lewinsky scandal said the following in a secret conversation about the "stranglehold" that "the Jews" have over the American media: "This stranglehold has got to be broken or the country's going down the drain." The president agreed. The minister then went on to suggest: "If you get elected a second time, then we might be able to do something [about the Jews]."
What does it say about HIllary Clinton's judgment that she would turn to a vicious anti-Semite in her hour of greatest need?
(Ha ha ha ha. It's amazing the things you can do if you just omit a little context! Here's what I did - I found some anti-Semitic comments that Billy Graham made to Richard Nixon in 1972 and I wrote the whole thing to make it seem like he had said them to Bill Clinton! I'm pretty proud of that one!)
Here's a tip to my fellow Obama supporters. Never take anything a Clinton supporter says at face value, because often there's a lie or a distortion or a made-up fact behind it. I think they simply assume that no one's going to bother to fact-check them, so sometimes they just make shit up.
And if you do only a little research you'll usually find out that there really were no snipers.
