Is everyone writing Kerry, Murtha, Reid, Polosi, Dean, etc. and telling them that you want them to attack the Republican noise machine more vigorously, to fight fire with fire, while at the same time pointing out the difference in values between the two parties? Or is everyone just coming on sites like Salon and HuffPost and Daily KOs and complaining what a lousy job Democrats have done? Has everyone voluteered to work the precincts this fall? What are the values differences between the Party leaderships? What is the Democratic plan? Last week a policy statement was issued by the DLC(?) and it sounded more like a PTA agenda than a blueprint for governing a nation. How can Democrats get voters to recognize and understand (distracted, apathetic or just turned off citizens) the disconnect between what the Republican regime says and what its policies have wrought? In the face of the conservative bias of the MSM and the chronic policy disarray of the Democrats, how do you get any coherent message out? Does the Democratic leadership remain in the thrall of beltway consultants? When was the last time the DLC won an election, 1996? Is the plan for taking back Congress this fall going to be left up to local politics without any national message or national support? If that's the plan, they'll have to do much better than the 50th CA. How did Busby make such a gaffe on immigration? How is it that she wasn't grilled and groomed over this senstivie issue in her district a thousand times before going on stage? Why was her organization not as effective on the ground as the Republicans? Is that why she lost or is that the MSM spin? How is it at this time and in light of what's at stake do the Democrats, who are smart people, keep making these stupid mistakes? Why is there so little discipline?

With the religious exception and occassional rare health issue aside (foreskin painfully tight), leave your baby boy's penis alone. It's his penis, let him decide if he wants to have it cut on. Little boys can be taught how to clean themselves so that there is no build up of smegma. If little girls can be taught how to clean and care for themselves, so can little boys. It's the higest order or misandry to believe otherwise. Males are no dumber or dirtier than females are, if they've received the proper parenting. A friend of mine had her son circumcised at birth, which is when most are done based on the recommendation of her doctor. She knew next to nothing about it and so like most young mother's she went along with the advice of her doctor. There was no health reason to have it done, as there is not in 99.99% of male births. The surgeon botched the circumcision and she had it done over again a few weeks later!

Most American circumcisions remove the entire foreskin while it's my understanding that the traditional brith (someone correct me if I'm wrong) only removed the tip end of the foreskin.

"Red of tooth and claw" refers more to females than to males. Never underestimate a female's ability to get what she wants, if not fiercely and ferociously, then by stealth and cunning. This is not meant as a slam against females, but a fair asessment of their capabilities to achieve their ends through the will to power and control, as do males.

About half way through the letter I stopped believing it. It just started to have the ring of fiction to it all. I suspect that Cary wrote the letter to himself just so he could write that great reply!

Are we to believe that Al-Queda and other terroist forces that may wish to harm American persons and property wouldn't "know" or assume that their banking transactions are being spied on? What kind of stupid terroists wouldn't already assume that everything they say and do is being monitored by someone, somehow, especially after all that's happened since 9/11? Terroists who infiltrated our neighborhoods and flight schools and managed to fly airplanes into the WTC AND the Pentagon without the exact knowledge and/or acceptance of American intelligence and leadership? Those same terrorists? And now the would be terrosits are suddenly aware that their banking transactions are being spied on because the NYTimes said so? This is ludicrous. It seems to me that the only people who are not aware that their banking transactions, along with every other transaction, conversation, movement and thought are being spied on and recorded are innocent (not to mention naive) Americans. Bush's political opposition is whose being spied on here. This screeching from the WH and the RNC political noise machine is just more political posturing in an election year.

Why is it that people keep repeating this joke about Ann Coulter actually being a man? Because she's a loud mouthed, hate filled, jackass? What, women can't be loud mouthed, hate filled, jackasses, only men can be that? Pure misandry. Every mention of her in every thread in every article that appears on the internet these days, somebody repeats this dumbass "joke" about her being a man. Ann Coulter is a loud mouthed, hate filled, jackass female. Calling her a man does not insult Coulter it insults men.
