lol if you're not watching the ads you're infringing anyway
sorry, stevo, but the results are going to be published in "science," which means peer review. not to rain on your parade or anything.
The New Yorker engineers a publicity-stunt "controversy," liberals get mad, and it's George Bush's fault?
Hastily-written screed with an awful premise and some class envy thrown in gets posted on Salon and 600+ idiots melt down in the comments section?
God, I love the internet.
By focusing on Muslims we take our attention away from the danger of Samoan and/or Presbyterian terrorists!
It's so stupid- I mean, when was the last time a Muslim committed an act of terrorism anyway?
The only way to be safe is to search little old white ladies, confiscate nail clippers, and put toothpaste in baggies.
it's pretty fair because some dude with erectile dysfunction isn't going to be able to get it up on his own no matter how hard he tries. some bitch who doesn't want to get pregnant simply needs to say "sorry, no sex tonight unless you wear a condom" or just, you know, not have sex at all.
wow, none of you people have ever been in the military. these kids go and kill, dismember, and maim- and have to live with it; along with things like PTSD and other war injuries, and all Badkhen can say about it is "oh no, they made homophobic comments!"
why didn't you take the opportunity to grill the ACLU hack about their stupid-ass 2nd amendment position in light of Heller? Even anti-gunners agree that their position is laughably partisan and ideologically driven.
Greenwald used to be one of the few Salon contributors whose ideology didn't compromise his journalists integrity too much- go get 'em, Glenn!
On the one hand, im amazed that screed like this could even make it onto a blog; let alone a mid-level site like Salon. On the other hand, I'm glad sites like this exists to give an outlet to middle-of-the-class graduates of budget-priced journalism schools like Louis Bayard... I can only imagine the outrage and disappointment I would feel if he were to somehow able to land a job as a "real journalist." At least this way there are perches for people like him to land on.
This article is basically "read me! it's about sex!" with a healthy dose of "LOLXTIANS" thrown in.
Too much more of Bayard's bullshit and Salon might be able to get tax-exempt status: it seems every day there are more stories about Christians/Christianity than not on here.
Sad, because it used to be so much better.
only placing the blame on Viacom? This is Google's fault for keeping this shit in the first place and failing to anonymize or blind it. And they also kept all the taken-down videos as well? That was just asking for something like this to happen, but in their greed they couldn't resist the temptation of maybe one day getting a huge targeted-marketing payday.
I hope Viacom gets their way and teaches Google a billion-dollar lesson in privacy and user-data anonymity.
